  • Notice how he's never sold the sculpture Kurt made for him or sell pictures of it to the media for cash. He's just an incredibly respectful and talented dude that I think the world of.

  • Krist is an honorable guy and legend. Nothing but respect and good feelings for him.

  • Do you people understand how incredible this man is? Oh you do, Good. :)

Krist is a one of most kick ass musicians there is! To be this gracious and humble says a lot to me & I appreciate the fact that he never has exploited Kurt or said anything to defame him. He's always honored Kurt's memory & is mindful when he speaks about him. I wish more of Nirvana's recordings & Kurt's music was made public rather than selected sections of his personal journals which were not intended for us to read.

  • Krist, You have always been one of the coolest guys, most talented and respectful guy. Thank you for the years of music and activism. So many people owe you too. Thank you!

  • Krist has always been such a cool guy. I really admire him & love listening to him speak.

  • I love Krist.

  • Its called ageing...

  • thanks krist novoselic

  • @LilNomNom why is it a shame? Must everything and everyone conform to some standard of an image? Why is his aging process important in any way whatsoever?

  • @LilNomNom I'm glad I lost my hair.

  • @LilNomNom It's a shame that's what you focus on. Grow the fuck up!

  • its amazing how well spoken and mature krist has become

  • @h311inac311 Dude, what the fuck is wrong with you?

  • @krisruston My guess is inbreeding.

  • I love you's!

  • Kris pozdrav iz Domovine, ti si ponos i dika Hrvatske

  • I totally agree with Kris. People like Kurt cobain and Jimi Hendrix changed the world and personally I own them too much of my best moments in life.

  • He looks so...Hurt.

You can tell he obviously misses Kurt.

    Its so sad :|

  • If I ever meet Kurt's mom, Krist or Dave. I'll cry and give them a hug. Nirvana changed my life. They make me happy, and sad. R.I.P Kurt, and I'm sorry Dave and Krist.

  • Its true! nirvana is moust punk grunge band!

  • @rockriver126 nirvana is more of a punk band they are a horriable grunge band

  • Dave is the shit 2!!

  • krist has some kick as shirts!!!

  • What an amazingly humble man, Respect!

  • if theres a nirvana religion i want in lol

  • Krist..dont you mean the 19th century?

  • @Dibbleg1 what century are you living in? the 90s were in the 20th century, it is now the 21st century

  • @LamStock digital boy

  • Krist was and is very important. Maybe kurt would not start in a band if it was not for him. just saying that Nirvana and kurt would not exist without Krist.

  • @1algerial1 thats ridiculous

  • @LamStock

birdbrain - learn Nirvana history and talk with someone your own level.

  • @1algerial1 sap you said kurt would not exist without him... pretty sure he would've. just because krist started the band with kurt doesnt mean kurt would not have started a band. he was the songwriter

  • @LamStock

really - I said Nirvana and Kurt would not exist without Krist. We are in the context of Nirvana and music here. Not to be rude , but anyone entering this video would understand that. But not you - lol whatever ;)

  • nirvana literaly changed my life, my mind, my dreams for the future. thank you, krist and kurt for everything

  • he miss his brother :(

  • Krist just rocks. Lol. He's one of the few people who, when he gets that rhythm, you notice it on his face. Lmao! I love it. Nirvana's going to continue to be a big influence no matter what generation. I'm a huge fan. : ) keeping the feel alive.

  • KristX

  • krist you make me smile just hearing your voice

  • I dunno how kurt woulda felt about all those advertisments under his band name....wells fargo? what does wells fargo have to do with punk?

  • gotta love the sponsors listed right behind him. I don't think Kurt would appreciate that very much.............

  • explain yourself, mr. 1 dislike.

  • @baldingmoose more like Mr./Ms. dislike..go shove that thumbs down up your butt and don't watch the videos then :)

  • Comment removed

  • @baldingmoose Great, mr. 1 dislike, now you have also you're 3 friends, let they explain theirselves too

  • Ouch, oweee, makes my little guts hurt. Was 11 when Nevermind came out, wore that poor cassette out. Literally. Yeah, Nirvana changed my life. The many avenues that it opened to a lonely little Kansas girl, I can never express my gratitude. Thank you.

  • Where's Dave Grohl?

Do Dave and Krist talk anymore?

  • @shimokita2 Krist was apart of Foo Fighters new record, also was in an interview with dave recently for the 20th anniversary of Nevermind.

  • @shimokita2 Yes they still talk, actually Krist plays bass on a song in the new foo fighters album which is also produced by the same guy who produced the Nevermind album.

  • @DrZaious Butch Vig?

  • @cheshirepat30 Yes and thanks, I couldn't remember his name off the top of my head. The Foo Fighters song Krist plays bass on is "I Should Have Known."

  • @shimokita2 Of course. Krist played on Foo Fighters's song "I Should Have Known" in 2011.

  • Nirvana changed my life for sure. Thank you Krist for talking about Nirvana and still being the awesome person you've always been

  • 0 dislikes! dats wat i am talking abt.. miss u kurt :(

  • fuck i want to go see that sooo bad

  • Krist is a special person to be able to stand up there and talk about nirvana and his best friend that died at the time. Nirvana changed my life. When i was 13 my mom left me to her dad and moved out to go live with a junkie. I got out of sports and started playing guitar because kurt's music just made you really listin to some of his poetry and just understand him so clearly in a different way. Kurt Cobain revolutionized music, along with dave and everyone else who loved this band.

  • I love it. I just love this so much. This is coming from a true friend, who was truly a part of the experience. Not just some reporter or biographer who was 'alive" when it was happening. Thank you so much for this video.

  • How hard could be to speek about your;e death friend in this way when you can see his face on milion t-shirts,walls,newspapers,magazine...Krist is a man.

  • Thank you saving rock music!!!

  • I have sooooo many questions for Krist.

  • Thank You Nirvana for your brilliant music. You guys changed music forever in the best way possible! Thanks.

Oh, and Krist should get some rogaine.

  • Right on!

  • It make's me so happy that we are celebrating Kurt Cobain due to this thing opening and the 20 year anniversary of Nevermind! Good job Krist! I wish i could shake yours and dave's hand just to say thank you for the music bud! :)

  • what a polite person !!!

  • @DubbahBlanks I was lost too, didnt fit into the society fand felt alone! Then i ehard Nirvana and the first time in my life i felt not alone , there were people like me out there! That was the best moment in my life!

  • I was 12 when Nevermind came out and it changed my life..I bought Wipers, Melvins, SOnic Youth, meat puppers, MELVINS! records..if it wasn't for them I wouldnt be the same person..Thank you Krist and nirvana for the gift of music and art.

  • Beautiful, just beautiful.

  • I am a grown man of 26 years old. Watching this makes my eyes swell up and stand at the utmost awe of Krist, Dave and Kurt. I've been listening to Nirvana ever since my brother of 32, introduced me to the band at the age of 8-9 years old. Even then, my childish mind understood what Nirvana was about, the emphasis on the music, the freedom, the hard work of ALL the members of that band performed. They joked around with eachother and everybody casually and happy. I love you. Dave, Krist and Kurt.

  • He misses him.Somehow we all do- thats something incredible.

  • shit mahn. krist takes it hard whenever he talks about kurt

  • @Euph0ricacid yah dude. u said it

  • I LOVE krist and dave for not selling kurt out. Love them for it. Just goes to show he chose some great friends.

Not slating kurt, not selling things kurt gave them for money etc. :)

  • @mekissingyou friends doesnt sell out their true friends...

  • @mekissingyou kinda like how his wife did, shows how much respect she had for him

  • @mekissingyou you know what? it doesn't matter if they "sell out." For one reason, Kurt SOLD OUT. But at the same time it doesn't matter. You want to know why? Because he didn't care to reach those standards. He died before he could "sell out," as Krist said he was compelled to be an artist, it was destined everyone, DESTINED.

  • @musiqqqqqq Oh shutup. Im not talking about an artist selling out im talking about people who sell their friends out.

  • @mekissingyou sorry then, misunderstood and was probably under the influence while commenting.

  • @mekissingyou SELL THINGS FOR MONEY??????? Dave or Krist will never have to worry about money!

  • Krist you are a king

  • Krist I love you and I hope to maybe meet you someday. Your a legend

  • Nirvanas music will always be timeless. I can put on any of their records and they still sound fresh today. The lyrics are powerful even though at times they make no sense. Kurt is speaking to the disenfranchised youth. The sound that Nirvana had was just brutal as hell. The band live just totally blew me away. Nirvana as a band were not fake or lazy. They gave their records and live shows everything they had.

  • I can tell where they celebrate the anniversary of Nirvana 2012? if possible tell me the exact city and want to attend the anniversary

  • You have no idea how much respect I have for Krist.

  • ¿alguien puede poner subtiulos a este discuro?

  • It's hard for him to talk about his friend, Cobain. He really loved him! It's sad to see a man who's missing his best friend.

  • legend

  • mmm I don't understand him...ufffffff some italian lyrics??

  • best shirt ever

  • its really weird for me because when i got into nirvana i saw lots of pictures of the band and they where all young and now when i see things like this its like they have aged suddenly and it makes me sad it isn't still the 90's :(

  • Nirvana-Serve the servants <3

  • Thank you for sharing this.

  • i THINK Krist really would rather be playing Nirvana now AND talking about other bands and opportunities and pastime experiences. I thought of that... right as I thought I heard someone actually messaged me of Facebook. No one did. That doesn't mean I'd rather, but it's like that sense of loneliness. Hah, good thing Krist is more serious about bands playing Seattle while I wouldn't give a shit like that woman on TV saying she supports our troops. Neither of us seem like we give a shit.

  • krist seems like a cool guy=D

  • I just love this man.

  • krist is a true friend thru the years without kurt.. i dont know how he can carry all that pain each and every single day. i really admired u krist..i hope b4 i die i get to meet u..

  • This man, hes part of something great, that changed so many lives, its just great that hes still around, youre great Krist, thank you so much.

  • poor krist, you can hear his voice cracking. i cant imagine having to talk about your dead best friend and the impact he/they made

  • Where did this take place?

  • he doesnt look old, just lose the beard and he'll look 20 again =D

  • i can honestly say nirvana has changed my life so so sos so much

  • not when he was there tho :[

  • I WAS THERE

  • what about frances?where is she?

  • I wish Kurt would've snuck in and just walked up on stage. We NEED you man!

  • big change!

  • have alot of respect for this man.

  • Legend!!!

  • Krist liv luv luv

  • Nirvana true punk rock! Kurt come back!

  • This is so great! Kinda weird with all the corporate logos around :$

  • "I love Dave" awww krist you're so sweet, I love him too!

Long live to Novoselic, he's a genious too! <3

  • yeahhh kristt... you always live in my heart and soul...

  • i can't stop staring at his shirt

  • Krist you've been a good friend for a long time.

  • Krist = LEGEND

  • me, kurt, krist, and dave have so much in fucking common its unbelievable!!! i hope to be as great as a musician as you guys one day, and send meaningful msg's! to bad i was born in 1990 or i would of been in pat smears shoes =) too bad i never had an opportunity to see them live tho...

  • @6netfire dumb cunt

  • -_-. I was working downstairs when this happened. I'm so pissed that I missed this.

  • @ derekxnl - Amen!

  • The Corporate culture will never disappear. There is simply too much money to be made in it. And money is everything to too many people. But the silver lining is that this means there will always be a place for people who are against the corporate establishment. There will always be a place for Nirvana and those of us who still believe in that message.

  • Nirvana will go on forever. Thanks to Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and especially Kurt Donald Cobain.

  • Atta boy Krist!!

  • Thank you for upload this videos!

  • GOD< I wish I was there!!!

    btw...nice shirt, Krist! =)

  • Krist flat-out rocks!

  • What really sucks is that I got there at noon on opening day so I missed Krist.
