Lets face it, if France didn't exist, then the United States of America would either be British or not even exist at all....
Reasons:
1. During the French an Indian war, George Washington was a lieutenant an was sent to fight the French at Fort Duquesne, Washington was captured, but then released 1 month later.
2.The French practically bankrupted themselves to help America fight the British, by sending many soldiers and sending LOTS of French Navy fleets...
LOL French revolution is happening todays globally though bankers enslave all people as oligarchy !!! People revolt and eventually blood will be spilled.

according to the history books louis didnt have the surgery, he was too afraid too. the only reason the marriage was consummated is because marie's brother explained the mechanics of making love to louis on a visit to versailles
@international4life1 Baron de Montesquieu was French Enlightment thinker who believed in the seperation of government into three branches: Legislative, Executive, and Judicial.
This Proves that no one in France is safe even the Monarchy, they should've treated there people with respect not diss them by sitting there watching them die one by one, im glad the peasants did something about it, but they shouldn't of killed Queen Marie Antoniette and King Louis XVI
The King of France should've cut social security and universal health care...oh wait, that's what the GOP are doing today...and we have WALL ST. PROTESTS...hmmm...Im starting to see parallels here...i hope heads don't roll...no one wants to see it come to that....
@anaihilator hey there...I see you are an opera fan? Sweet, so am I. I guess my love for the whole history of the French Revolution was inspired by the story of Beethoven ripping apart his Eroica symphony dedication to Napoleon once Napoleon crowned himself emperor instead of carrying out the initial enlightenment ideas of the French Revolution.
Where the people truly fought in noble fashion, was against Robespierre's "Reign of Terror" aka (faux) "revolution". There was much to be resolved, yet the clarity to do so, would wait over 200 years to arrive.
The French people had been swindled by "The Reign of Terror". Once the smoke cleared, France had no choice but to embrace Napoleon in hopes that good would come from it for it was too late, what was done was done. Those who believed all of the lies, sealed the fate of France. It was the final act of "acceptance", that smoothed things over to a place where the tabloids and propaganda and lies could now seem believable as "history" and it was thus recorded that way. But in fact it was inaccurate.
5:03 just like what is happening in North Korea. The Kim dynasty live like kings, spend billions on soldiers, nukes, expensive food and luxury wile the country is is in economic collapse, the whole population is starving and living in poor conditions
In 18th century French monarchy & aristocracy were corrupt, inept, decadent & oppressive. 5% of the pop. controlled 95% of wealth. Peasants had no chance to improve their lives. Revolution was only matter of time. However govt that replaced monarchy was almost as bad & set up a nearly totalitarian regime.
Once Napoleon destroyed all French records as well as many records in invaded countries that opposed his version of how "history" should be told, so as to justify his actions and hide his crimes, we were left with only his propaganda and tabloid tales coined into a faux historical account. There was nothing else on the surface to go by. There'd been too much chaos, confusion and wild stories with lack of witnesses during the 1789 riots for many to cite certainty in their understanding of events
Riots were incited by Marat's tabloids lies and by Robespierre's speeches manipilating anger; He too was lying. The people were lead astray. The faux 'national assembly' prevented the people from perceiving positive changes at the hand of the Sovereign and instead, worked to black-list all Royalty and nobles with lies. Their intention was to take France over from the inside by utilizing the people. Marie Antoinette was stylish, graceful and kind. Lies invented a false illusion of her presence.
Imagine seeing the part where they're talking about pornographic images while in world history class, lets just say my entire class was like "Whoa what the hell!" not to mention it was severely awkward. Lol
This documentary is based on a skewed, slanted view of things. Many variables have to be perceived a particular way in order to support this view of history. This is called a 'set up'. If one chooses to call false accounts of history 'conspiracies', then there is definitely a conspiracy concealing the truth of what occurred in 1789 France. Missing chunks of information aren't accounted for. Where are the records of French negotiations and close relations with the USA that lasted from 1776-1789?

@Maneater1984 no need for that language , I'm a history teacher and am showing my students this video and do not appreciate my students exposed to this disgusting language.
@killamoss81 wow what a bummer. biggest douchebag i've met so far in youtube. you seem worse than any of these "losers". go and be a dumbass throughout your life. in the end a girl wants a smart man that can support a family not a dumbass douchebag like you.
@killamoss81 if u say this could be wrong b/c is second hand info , then why u watch it? why dont u get a life and start learning and stop criticizing people who just want to learn and let them be in peace.
@killamoss81 you are soooo retarted. People who are watching this are actually smarter than you can ever hope to be. I feel very so for you, I hope you won't teach your future kids - brats - to be as dumb as you when you're living off Wellfare.
You can say all you want about the kings intentions, but it doesn't change the basic reality at that time in France. People were suffering, either because of the food price or due to a feudal system that treated them as second class citizens, less even, slaves.
The bread price is what makes or breaks a revolution. The royals were personally responsible for the malaise (decadence and the wars they waged on other nations) and failed to act adequately.
@lurconis666 There was debt, there was grain shortage caused by crop failures, taxes were raised slightly, a lot of focus had been spent on America: This much is true. The rest was the exaggerated slander in tabloids, designed to create hysteria, to make things seem far worse than they were. Louis, if anything, was accused of not being aggressive enough. W/o getting the people brainwashed and furiously on their side, Robespierre and the other renegades didn't stand a chance with their take-over.
@lurconis666 I beileve the problem was mainly the debt at the debt's height 1/2 of the 3rd estate's taxes was going to pay the debts but they were very big. Now because of the high price of bread the goverment's lack of money because of its price to the American Revolution in which France put so much money to it, but did not have any money to help its people. It is possible this could have been blammed on Louis XVI's predecesors. The feudal system is ok it has been aroun for years it was issues.
No Napoleon never wrote a constitution. Which constitution is referred to? 1991, 93, 98, VIII? Napoleon instituted the civil code, which was a combination of three Germanic codes. So no, he did not write them, he adapted them. It did reflect how he thought. People with talent would rise. Napoleon was into order. He believed in rising by talent, but did not concern himself with individual rights. He viewed a nation as an army. Effective generals trump birth rights. Most powerful rules.
how can the king commit so much money to the american war ? when his people are starving. All governments need to stay out of foreign wars. You just end up bankrupt.
On a side note; War is seems more expensive than a monarchy. Maybe a french monarchy would still be around.
omg, marie antonette was compared to Imelda Marcos during her days our former First lady huh. i didn't know Mrs. Marcos was so famous all over the world :)
8:03 an illistration from one of Marquis De Sade's novels. He wrote novels that depicted the aristocrats as doing nothing but raping killing getting drunk and having orgies. The word "Sadism" comes from De Sade's name simply because of the extreme violence cruelty and sexual torture in his books.
Why get angry of their lifestyles ? I mean...they had the devine right to rule and life like that, the dutch monarchy nowaday costs €130.000,00 per year....we dont complain
I didn't want any of them executed just off the throne but when I found out Marie Antoinette wanted to join with Austria to retake power it made me angry, what did she wanted the power back for?? to keep leeching the poor people of France I support democracy and she looked for it by trying to fight back the poor people of France, I feel no pitty for her beheading, all is fair in love and war...
@xhappyxlifex Wrong! Do you really believe that Napoleon wrote the French Constitution? He didn't think or work that way. Louis August did. France supported the Americans and really didn't have to worry because the investment would pay off. Marie wanted her brother to jump on board with supporting America and democratic progress. The people fucked up. Napoleon was not better. His type is the type you run out!! Not Marie Antoinette. How dare people try to control her soul without just cause.
@StarQualityWins but remeber Louis XIV helped the americans, Loius 16th however was so unsure of himself that he thought having a party would make everything better. BTW Since when did Napoleone write the French Constitution????? Napoleone was in no means better, in reality he made everything worse. Yes he was a great leader stragetically but just like the previous rulers before him he also got to a point where the people hated even him. Stop blaming Marie for everything this one was all Louise!
@countrywillneverdie You completely misinterpreted my statement. By no means do I support nor believe Napoleon in any way, shape, form. I blame him for all. I praise Marie Antoinette and recognize that Louis XVI did write the French Constitution. 1776, Louis' grandfather dead; Louis with Marie both supported the Americans for no other reason other than genuine support of their cause, and cooperation in pertaining to American law within French American states. For France, Constitutional Monarchy.
@countrywillneverdie Their plans were sabotaged by opportunists who lead the people astray, served as a barrier between people and Sovereign, then used the people to run out the Monarchy, thus taking credit for, and stealing the plans of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. The tabloid slander campaign was all lies designed to infuriate the people. Riots were incited, not begun by people themselves. People were misinformed. For every $100 of democracy Louis would bring in, Robespierre brought in 15.
This documentary is BS!. So many repeated lies in all thses documentaries. I wonder if it is produced by BBC? Wouldn't surprise me, sociaslist anti monarchist fasists!
@Pugwash81 how is a socialist fascist possible. those are two opposites. one's extremely liberal and one's extremely conservative. but idk this seems pretty informative.
Actually there is such a combo. National Socialism/Nazism, however the lean was closer towards the National part but the government involved itself w/ the people on a constant basis with government programs
Five failed constitutions and now the french have TWO leaders to deal with. Riots, islamification, higher taxes, EU Socialist empire and the french are still shouting Long live the republic??? Seems like the same people who lead the revolution are still running the country. Dellusion brings on every kind of mischief!
i bet if louis didnt keep it in his pants and payed more attention to his wife i bet she wouldnt have spent all that money on jewels and dress and i am aware of louis condition
Watch "French Contribution to USA Independance" by the cajuncutthoart, here on youtube. Without French help, the Americans were in trouble. The war began in 1776. In 1789 Louis penned the first French Constitution. Royalty wasn't forced out until 1792-1793. Napoleon didn't think or function with constitutional rights in mind. This documentary is based on invalid information.
He didn't actually have phimosis. His hunting journals do not show any breaks, even though after surgery, he would not have been able to hunt. He just did not know how to perform sexually. Read Wikipedia.
@dolphinsneu wikipedia isnt always reliable, sinc eanyone can edit it if they have an account, was there a source from this information that proves it? a legitamite one?
@MWM0217 they do give citations at the bottom. He could not have been treated for phimosis and still gone hunting, since phimosis is treated by circumcision, and at that age, being circumcised meant you'd have to spend a few weeks covalesing. It's impossible to sit in a saddle after being circumcised, yet his hunting journals do not show any breaks.
boring.... =(

Dru0417 10 months ago
You can say all you want about the kings intentions, but it doesn't change the basic reality at that time in France. People were suffering, either because of the food price or due to a feudal system that treated them as second class citizens, less even, slaves.
The bread price is what makes or breaks a revolution. The royals were personally responsible for the malaise (decadence and the wars they waged on other nations) and failed to act adequately.
For that they suffered the consequences.
lurconis666 11 months ago
@lurconis666 There was debt, there was grain shortage caused by crop failures, taxes were raised slightly, a lot of focus had been spent on America: This much is true. The rest was the exaggerated slander in tabloids, designed to create hysteria, to make things seem far worse than they were. Louis, if anything, was accused of not being aggressive enough. W/o getting the people brainwashed and furiously on their side, Robespierre and the other renegades didn't stand a chance with their take-over.
StarQualityWins 11 months ago 30

I didn't want any of them executed just off the throne but when I found out Marie Antoinette wanted to join with Austria to retake power it made me angry, what did she wanted the power back for?? to keep leeching the poor people of France I support democracy and she looked for it by trying to fight back the poor people of France, I feel no pitty for her beheading, all is fair in love and war...
xhappyxlifex 1 year ago
@xhappyxlifex Wrong! Do you really believe that Napoleon wrote the French Constitution? He didn't think or work that way. Louis August did. France supported the Americans and really didn't have to worry because the investment would pay off. Marie wanted her brother to jump on board with supporting America and democratic progress. The people fucked up. Napoleon was not better. His type is the type you run out!! Not Marie Antoinette. How dare people try to control her soul without just cause.
StarQualityWins 1 year ago 31
@StarQualityWins but remeber Louis XIV helped the americans, Loius 16th however was so unsure of himself that he thought having a party would make everything better. BTW Since when did Napoleone write the French Constitution????? Napoleone was in no means better, in reality he made everything worse. Yes he was a great leader stragetically but just like the previous rulers before him he also got to a point where the people hated even him. Stop blaming Marie for everything this one was all Louise!
countrywillneverdie 1 year ago
@countrywillneverdie You completely misinterpreted my statement. By no means do I support nor believe Napoleon in any way, shape, form. I blame him for all. I praise Marie Antoinette and recognize that Louis XVI did write the French Constitution. 1776, Louis' grandfather dead; Louis with Marie both supported the Americans for no other reason other than genuine support of their cause, and cooperation in pertaining to American law within French American states. For France, Constitutional Monarchy.
StarQualityWins 1 year ago 20
@countrywillneverdie Their plans were sabotaged by opportunists who lead the people astray, served as a barrier between people and Sovereign, then used the people to run out the Monarchy, thus taking credit for, and stealing the plans of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. The tabloid slander campaign was all lies designed to infuriate the people. Riots were incited, not begun by people themselves. People were misinformed. For every $100 of democracy Louis would bring in, Robespierre brought in 15.

MWM0217 1 year ago
@MWM0217 they do give citations at the bottom. He could not have been treated for phimosis and still gone hunting, since phimosis is treated by circumcision, and at that age, being circumcised meant you'd have to spend a few weeks covalesing. It's impossible to sit in a saddle after being circumcised, yet his hunting journals do not show any breaks.
