i remember going there about 10 years ago when my dad still rode, him and his friend were riding and he told me that they thought they were all cool and thought they were flying high and doing crazy stunts, so we filmed them and when they saw themselves riding they said "we're fucking idiots out there"

Ive never ridden on a track before. My first day out should i go easy and get to know the track and then gradually launch the jumps? Or is it better just to be ballsy about it and just attack it? im not scared to hit jumps or anything but the most ive ever hit was a 15ft table top in the trails.

No. In fact its usually a lot better. I just went early in the day in the middle of the week. A lot of the tracks around here are gettin a lot better about track prep.

The camera is mounted on the helmet, and when its stable (tightned up) on the helmet. The camera moves at sam direction as the helmet.

If it moves around loads like you said, you obviously have bad attachment that makes it shaky. It can end the camera falls off into the dirt.

I use helmet cam myself when i do downhill biking in the woods where it should shake more than in tracks like this.

Its not fake. Its a well done attachment, get GoPro or Vio, those are good action camera

ummm....yea MX is tough. In fact its one of the top three most physically enduring sports there is. I have been racing MX for 15 years now and still have lots of room for improvement. Just remember to always land rubber side down!

im going to be moving to colorado in the next 4 months. do they have a good variety of tracks there? iv looked a little but down around colorado springs everything looks small and like its never groomed or keep up. do you have to go north of denver to find anything good or have i just not found anything yet? any help would be great! And nice video iv got to try that side mount it looks so much better!

There are a ton of tracks in the area. Check out the local race organizations for a list of all the tracks. RMXA, SRAC, HPMA, TSDR. I guess if your used to riding a prepped track everyday our tracks would seem chopped, but almost every track around here takes really good care of the facility. It's MX man, its not susposed to be easy and nice.

It wasnt to bad, a 450 would be the optimal choice for that track for sure. I only really had an issue with one jump. You cant see it on this video but there was only one that I was really tapped to get over.
