Eric was playing a Stratocaster on this track. Duane Allman to this point has not yet joined the Dominos at this point and of course, he was not present at the Fillmore during the recording of the album.

Duane's contribution on the album was, with his Les Paul. The Layla album is one for the ages! The Fillmore 'live' album has such a good version of Presence Of The Lord.

You know, I have owned over time, at least one copy of everything EC has ever produced.

I still gift the Layla album to folks that I know do not own a copy, but I have yet to buy the Layla 3CD boxset, figuring that I have those extra tracks on the Crossroad boxset that was first released in the mid 80's; but now I'm wondering if they are the same extra tracks.

I buy a squier  stratocaster few month ago.

practice some SRV stuff..and really like strat tone I put this les paul guitar in the case for a long time... I think I shoud sell someone who need that les paul

(maybe someday I'll buy a cheap les paul in honey burst color )
