@itstruth4u2 think about it, though: if they changed your genitalia to fit a different gender's, you would continue to feel your birth gender. you wouldn't suddenly change to identify with the other gender. and at the same time, the genitalia you have been given would feel alien. you'd still feel like a man/woman. and this is the same, but in reverse. they have been given the wrong sex organs, and they feel their true gender. sex is the organ we are born with. gender is the way we feel.

Whenever transgenders are criticised they pull out the "suicide card". They'll tell us it causes teens to attempt or commit suicide when we're mean to them. @itstruth4u2 think about it, though: if they changed your genitalia to fit a different gender's, you would continue to feel your birth gender. you wouldn't suddenly change to identify with the other gender. and at the same time, the genitalia you have been given would feel alien. you'd still feel like a man/woman. and this is the same, but in reverse. they have been given the wrong sex organs, and they feel their true gender. sex is the organ we are born with. gender is the way we feel.

Cher and Sonny separated, but still lived together after that and had other girlfriends and boyfriends in and out. That was what Chasity was raised exposed too growing up. Thank you Chaz for bringing transgender to the forefront! When I realized I was a lesbian, my life all of the sudden made sense! I can't imagine being the child of superstars and doing what you have done with the media looking at you, and you did it anyway, against the odds!
