  • @jesslynne93 LOL! I never said you can't be catholic! I believe in freedom of religion! I do believe in a god far greater than myself, but I think it should be kept out of legal matters. Quit turning it around...

  • @jesslynne93 LOL! That is why we have seperation of church and state. You seem to believe that America has to obey all of your rules pertaining to your religious beliefs. Keep religion out of government, not everyone is a catholic, honey...

  • @musicisunityandlove What happened to freedom of religion? Like I said before, I'm just stating my opinion. I'm not trying to forcefully convert anyone, honey...

  • @jesslynne93 No, why would you care? If abortion is legal, then just don't get one. It isn't any skin off of your shoulders.

  • @musicisunityandlove Abortion isn't legal everywhere. I'm Catholic. Being a Catholic, I believe it is wrong to murder, and I will stand up for what I believe is right. Just the way many non-Christians stand up for what THEY believe is right, even though certain issues don't concern them.

  • @jesslynne93 This is America, dear! This wouldn't be a free country if we didn't have the right to do what we want to our own bodies. I think people should mind their own business about matters that do not concern them. It doesn't affect you, so why do you care? What about rape victims or victims of involuntary incest. Do you think they want to live with the thought of some man that took their innocence for the rest of their life? I would hope not. Please, just think about what I have said...

  • @musicisunityandlove Why wouldn't I care? Abortion is clearly the taking of the life of a human being. And, by the way, according to statistical reporting, there are no more than one or two pregnancies resultant from every 1,000 forcible rapes. And adoption is always an option. I'm not being forceful or judging those who get abortions. I'm just stating my opinion. Thanks for your comment.

  • I respect that you have your views but I 100% disagree. Who gives you or any other person the right to dictate how a person should live their lives and what choices they should make in them. It's a womens choice what she does with her body. Abortion happens on a bunch of cells. During a period the body aborts a bunch of cells so should we stop our periods aswell now? I am pro choice.. whatever a women feels is best for her is the right decision for her. I wouldnt have one but others might.

  • @xXmichaela1Xx What about the body of that baby? No, it's not a bunch of cells. It's a growing human being. Being pregnant and having your period are comeletely different. Who gives you or any other the person the right to take someone's life before they get a chance to experience the fullness of it?

  • do you not think the mother should chose? She should be given the options and arguments for all the sides. It is her who has to give 9 month of her life to pregnancy and the labor and the pain of separation from the child or giving up her life for it. i think its the creators of the childs choice. After all it is freedom and choice that made modern society. I respect your religous views but i do not think you should not force your beliefs and way of life on others e.g laws against abortion.

  • @tillytillytilly1 Why create a child if you just intend to kill it afterwards? I understand that there are mistakes but that's why my religion values chastity. And, I'm not forcing. I'm stating an opinion on why I think it's wrong.

  • It should be only allowed in cases of rape. The Government should have NO say in what you do with your life.

  • @HHHdahman But by only allowing it for certain things the Government is having a say on your life it is saying, "I am sorry you do not match the criteria so you have to keep your baby even if you are not finacially and mentall ready for it."

  • I agree with you(:

  • I'm Catholic. But I am Pro-Choice, don't try saying if you're Pro-Choice then you can't be Catholic. A woman should have the right to choose what she wants to do. In some cases women have abortions for health reasons. I wasn't going to comment but when you said that you can't be Catholic if you're Pro-Choice, it pissed me off because that is the biggest load of bullshit I have ever heard.

  • @EnglishTarts No, the Catholic church values life and it's importance and purpose and it teaches that abortion is murder. Being pro-choice is basically betraying your faith. But having learned more about religion since the making of this video, I admit that I could've, instead, said that it's a terrible sin to get an abortion and to support it. Because Catholics are sinners. Sorry I pissed you off.

  • Obviously, my dear, as a fifteen-year-old, inexperienced CHILD yourself, you have no right and no obligation to speak on a subject that your so-called "religion" has forced down your throat by the very priests who are probably molesting children as I type this.

A woman who become pregnant - especially by rape - should NEVER be forced to carry the child. That's more torturous than rape itself.

    Your opinion sickens me.

  • @0Sarahx Being a seventeen year old now, I still disagree. Religion has NEVER been forced down my throat and my views hardly revolve around religion. The problem reguarding priests molesting children has nothing to do with the Catholic faith. It has to do with the person himself. It's sinful, just as sinful as killing an innocent human being. Rape resulting in pregnancy is very rare, especially since most girls raped are too young to get pregnant or murdured afterward. And you say I'm sick.

  • LOL

  • In its first weeks, the 'blob of tissue' doesn't have hands, feet, face, heartbeat etc and is definitely not conscious. And i think a woman/child who was raped should not be forced to go through the pregnancy..

Having said that, i do agree with most of what you said, people should have a responsible sex life and be ready to accept the consequences.

  • @scarol17 During the 5th week of pregnancy, the brain, spinal cord and heart begin to develop. Week 6 of the pregnancy, the brain, eyes, ears, nose, and bones begin to develop. Usually by week 12, the unborn child has began to develop most of it's features, inside and out. Abortions are legal up until I think the 24th week of pregnancy, when the baby is even more gown and developed.

  • @monkieeluv93 Yes, i know that, I still think women/children have more rights than the embryo in case of rape.

I find oral/emergency pill type of abortion up until the first month justifiable, because I don't believe ''life beginning at conception'' is a valid pro-life argument - 90% of fertilised eggs are miscarried anyway without the woman ever knowing she got pregnant.

  • @scarol17 Society in general believes that rape, in itself, is not enough to justify capital punishment. Why should it be enough to justify an abortion?

  • @Kataphraktoi17 If you think a woman/child who went through rape should not be given the opportunity to have an abortion, you are heartless and cruel. Maybe one day if your mother/daughter/sister/friend get gang raped, you'll understand what im talking about. Untill then i know its pointless to keep arguing about this subject.

  • @scarol17 I agree with you totally

    thank you.

  • @scarol17 Here's a little thought experiment you could try on someone. Go up to a person and smash their brains in and see what happens. The result is that consciousness is a biological faculty and nothing more and nothing special. You're a "blob of tissue" as well. The Catholic teaching is that the Soul is not "I," the traditional teaching is that the human soul is “per se and essentially the form of the body."

  • "I want the general public to know what the doctors know- that this is a person, this is a baby. That this is not some kind of blob of tissue."

    Dr. Anthony Levantino

  • @ChooseLifeIreland A very religious doctor. Ofcourse he is going to say that.. wins him brownie points with his church.

  • @xXmichaela1Xx His religion has got nothing to do with it. He changed from being an abortionist to being pro-life.

  • i've been scanning through abortion vids and I've noticed that almost all the girls pro life have been so pretty and so far all the girls that have been pro choice just look evil or ugly or men dressed in drag lol but i'm not finished looking yet lol

  • im sorry but untill yourve been pregnant for 9 weeks it basically is a blood of nothing it doesnt start growing organs untill your in a fetal stage which is 9 weeks and for 3 weeks after that they dont feel pain and i dont know about america but here in britian after 12 weeks you cant get an abortion because its alive and nowhere in the bible does is say "sex before marrige is a sin" it says your marital bed must be clean so for all anyone knows that could mean keep the sheets clean.

  • I am with you all the way. I am so prolife.

  • pro-choice and pro-abortion are two very different things. i would never personally get an abortion, and if my friend wanted to get an abortion i would try to help them find another option, but i do believe that people should have the choice to get an abortion. they should have the right to choose for themselves. that is pro-choice.

  • Yay!

  • You're an idiot.

  • @DistortedTruth That's hardly the case. I don't see how being pro-life makes me an idiot. I'm sorry.

  • "if your pro-choice your not a catholic" translates to

"if your pro-freedom your not caltholic" translates to

    ''We catholics don't like freedom"

... and yet your god gave us free will..

And barack obama is wrong to lead america, because he doesn;t conform to your homophobic, sexist and racist religion?

  • @Blackoutpr1 being pro-choice does not translate to "pro-freedom".

the fact is, that in being pro-choice, you have a choice: keep the baby or kill it. when people get abortions, they make the wrong choice. how does being "pro-freedom" affect the life of the innocent unborn child?

Barack Obama, being a pro-choice leader is not the only reason I do not love him as a president.

  • @jesslynne93 ok, i take on board your point with obama.

But with the abortion, why is it wrong to kill a baby ?

Because a book, written by men, told you so ?

So your claim, i presume, is all abortion is wrong..I think its perfectly justifiable in cases of rape or if the child is going to suffer in life.

Also Would Hitler's mother having an abortion have been wrong?

  • @Blackoutpr1 You don't think it's wrong to kill a baby? well, I do not only because it's in the Bible, but I think it's wrong to kill. There's no right in taking someone's life away from them. I understand people who say that it should be okay especially if a woman gets raped but that's their choice. some choices are good and some are not.

And how would Hitler's mother have known that He would end up being a crazy dictator in the future? Think about it.

  • @jesslynne93 Regardles off hitler's mothers knowledge of the future, looking retrospectively, would an abortion on her behalf have been wrong.. Yes or no? Also, your not taking away a life, by definition.. a foetus, or embryo, is not yet a human by scientific definition and classification. Thus, you are not killing.. Killing and stunting the ability to the potential to live are two diferent things.

  • @Blackoutpr1 Yes it would have been wrong for Hitler's mother to get an abortion. What makes her different from any other pregnant woman? The general definition of a fetus is an unborn offspring, alive, but not fully developed. That doesn't make it okay to kill it.

  • :).

  • ignorant bitch.

  • @LizZyLaSiK I guess stating my opinions does make me an ignorant bitch...Sorry if my views are different from yours hun.

  • @LizZyLaSiK thats a piss poor comment... if you have a disagreement, debate it constructively.

  • @Blackoutpr1 I'm not here to debate. I'm here to let people know why I'm pro- life, and that's what I did and will continue to do. We all have different views. I can't change people's minds about there views and other people can't change my mind on my views. Thanks for your comments. God bless you :)

  • @jesslynne93 Yes we do, i'm glad your not another ''the bible says so'' person and can actively discuss an issue .. Thanks for your time.. :)

  • @Blackoutpr1 K.
