that's not a wave dummies. It's called "Ice-Calving." This is a natural geological (ice) formation phenomenon that happens when parts of an ice sheet melts out from underneath via the melting and "calving" of the sublevel ice layers located both in and around the water level of the ocean. What happens is the ice melts out from the underside first. Then when the top layer which hangs over is slightly left in place, melt water runs off it over the edge and drips in an icicle-like manner to form it
