  • This guy is wrong about MLB players not being able to hit that, very wrong. Not a good look bragging about playing "semi pro" either. Anything could be called semi pro. What league?

  • @tokenmuchochiba Im not bragging... im simply stating that im AT LEAST better than 99% of you youtube commentators who think 100mph is a cakewalk. are you stupid? i said they cant CONSISTANTLY (over & over again) make solid line drive contact of a ball traveling 100mph... even from a machine. If you really knew baseball, you'd know that.

  • @MUTVexxxposed WHAT LEAGUE? Simply because somebody leaves a comment on Youtube doesn't make them ignorant about baseball. You have no clue who can play and who can't. I play on a pretty high level, this is why I find your insecurity so amusing.

  • @tokenmuchochiba for the last 3 years NYCMBL & next year Zorilla league in New York City ... look them up. I play around high college level caliber players & ones who have at one point been in pro ball (various minor leagues) Im not insecure about anything... im stating the obvious that a lot of you guys are arm chair quarterbacks. Where is it that you play?

  • @MUTVexxxposed Amarillo Dillas, independent league. Played all over the place the last 10 years. Hoping to play in Canada next season. Played 2 years of JUCO as well. Wasn't trying rip you dude, you obviously have some bat speed, but I would piss on that machine too.

  • @tokenmuchochiba If thats the case, then niceeeee... carry on & good luck next year. You have to agree with a majority of what i was saying though... especially about 99% of the viewers of this video being nothing more than armchair quarterbacks who think this is a cake walk. Too bad that place is torn down or id go back in 2011 with an HD cam... so people can stop talking about an old ass vid from 2006.

  • @MUTVexxxposed No doubt there are armchair QB's on here haha. I would never put a video with comments open on YouTube.

You have a good swing though. Keep your hands high, no hitch and have a good high finish (call it the Griffey finish). It is good to take vids while hitting 100 mph machines because any flaws that you have are going to be exposed, especially with dropping the hands. We had one in college that would register 114 on the jugs gun! It was almost impossible to hit, ball would rise.

  • NOT EVEN PROS'S COULD???? SOMEWHERE BARRY BONDS IS LAUGHING AT YOU

  • @jcantstop24 are you stupid? i said they cant CONSISTANTLY (over & over again) make solid line drive contact of a ball traveling 100mph... even from a machine. If you really knew baseball, you'd know that.

  • @MUTVexxxposed LMAOOOOOO Ur the stupid one....Barry Bonds against the National League Cy Young winner Eric Gagne, was early on a 100mph and roped it foul...Eric Gagne came back with a 72 mph curveball, then with 2 100mph fastballs...(another which Barry was early on) His very next pitch was clocked at 101 mph on the inside of the plate, and Barry Bonds Jacked it over the Center Field fence...Look it up...So like I said Barry Could with ease, and I know because I was at that game 6 rows up.

  • @MUTVexxxposed and if you read some of your comments nobody is reall impressed....And its really nothing to brag about saying you played semi pro ball...Semi Pro falls under alot of leagues now days....Oh, and Barry did that off of live pitching, not some machine where you know the speed of the pitch and your able to time it...Your a joke, and with your attitude, there in lies the reason you never made it to the Big Leagues. But "if you really knew baseball you would that"

  • @jcantstop24 as long as im better than you, im content in life. hahahahaahahahaaaaaa. I bet you didnt even make jr varsity.

  • @MUTVexxxposed LMAOOOO, Your goals in life arent too high if your content with being better than me...LMAOOOOO...Your a joke! Oh and I played at THE U... THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI, and I'am currently playing AAA ball, your a joke Good Day!!!

  • @jcantstop24 prove it... whats your name, number, position? do you have videos? wassup? When will they feature you as a prospect on MLB network so i can look out for you?

  • Comment removed

  • @jcantstop24 How could you have played at the U when you don't know the difference between "your a joke" and *you're a joke? Not being a typo troll, but you need to know basic grammar skills to be accepted to a university.

  • @tokenmuchochiba LMAOOOOOOO Now "YOU'RE" a gaylord troll to....It was typed liked that because he had used that line "your a joke" responding back to one of my comments that I had left...So I threw back at him twice mocking him...This is what happens when people try and look smarter than they really are on youtube...SMH...FYI Im still LMAOOOO at you sending me a private message and still not spelling "You're a joke" right....LMAOOOOOO....I post it for LULZ.... :-)

  • @jcantstop24 Lulz, OMFG, FYI, SMH, LMAO...You type like a little bitch. Who the fuck calls someone a "gaylord"?

  • @tokenmuchochiba Me, and all that little bitch talk sounds good over the internet...And the Gaylord line was a classic....-__-

  • Nice video, it's not as easy as it looks people who have never played baseball before! I bet most people would shit their pants if they saw a 100 MPH fastball. Just keep practicing and you'll be hitting every single one like the one you hit at 1:30. Thumbs up for the effort bro!

  • @ZombieRebellionTeam the hilarious thing is that this video is 5 years old!!!! this is from the fall of 2006. I was 20 years old. I tell these youtube idiots who try and downplay this the same thing. 1st of all i wish they would get in the cage so i can laugh at them. 2nd of all not even major leagues would be making solid line drive contact on every single 100mph pitch even if its from a machine. Trust me after about 10 consecutive hard swings you do get tired and slow down.

  • I hit 100 mph every day at varsity practice. Doesn't mean I'm a superstar. If the machine spits out 20 pitches at the same speed, you don't need to be stellar, just 5 pitches it takes to get timing. I will say any idiot can hit 100 mph in the cage if he gets his timing down. What's REALLY impressive is that MLB players do it while not knowing how fast it'll be

  • assuming the title is true and it is 100 mph, you idiots dont understand that you cant even see a 100 mph fastball. have you people ever played baseball. Try to hit 100. see what happens

  • they dont allow batting cages to pitch over 80. sooo yeah.... big difference between 80 and 100

  • @TuxedoBugMan6, What are you talking about? Lots of pitching machines throw 100+. I used to practice with an Atec pitching machine that could be set up to 100+ mph.

  • @TheFlanker35 yes they do but most businesses that own batting cages dont allow 100mph only because you get idiots that go in there, and thats a free law suit.

  • cus im sure u guys r all hella good at baseball right? u guys r all legit baseball players? hitting 25 homers a year and hitting .500? ok

  • y do u guys have to such dickheads? give em a break damn

  • This thing is filled from daytona beach i ve beeen there

  • great job 4 how old u r not many people tht age can do as good a job

  • I'm 16, this isn't very hard.

  • @AdamskateforZero your so full of shit ive had scollership players from my school say how hard it is even in cages. i know your gonna send a stupid ass comment back but if your so big prove it. even a fukin pro wouldnt think this is easy.

  • @st3v1eman94 I'm pretty sure a pro could handle it. Seeing as how they do it every day.. And I know you're going to comment back saying there is only a hand full of 100 mph pitchers. But you look like a clown in this... An earlier step and NOT swinging under the ball every time, would probably help.

  • @AdamskateforZero actually theirs a lot of pros who throw 100mph and this aint even me swinging the bat. but people like you piss me off. cuz your haters. people who do that disrespect the game because not everyone is as good as others. i meaan i can hit 100mph cages too. if you knew how much i love this game or love the game as much as i do then you MIGHT understand.

  • most major leaguers dont hit 100 the well

  • Is this at Randells Island? I fkin love that place

  • its not that hard to make contact make the right timen & youll get it.......but also mite wanna wear a smaller shirt

  • Chuck Norris takes Bpwith 2435235143514614461351464614565656426572625725600000000 mph fastballs!

  • more like 70 and its not that hard to hit im 14 and i can hit that no problem

  • Im pretty sure public batting cages don't go 100 mph and if they did your fucking dumb for not wearing a helmet, i've been around baseball for years and was drafted and the only true 100mph pitching machine i've faced was 40,000 dollars, and this isn't a 40,000 dollar pitching machine....

  • ur terrible, good try though

  • @nirvanachewbaccabean its funny that everybody who comments this video has most likely never played baseball or even made contact with a baseball.

doesnt matter if you're MLB... you wont make direct contact with 100mph pitches on a consistent basis. a lot get fouled off, popped up, hit the opposite way. there are only a handful of 100mph pitchers in baseball & yes they get hit too, but there are a lot of late swings & misses. id like to see you guys get in there if i suck so much, post a video

  • @MUTVexxxposed actually no. you just have a terrible swing

  • @MUTVexxxposed you did fine coceiderin your not pro you did pretty good. i know how hard it is to hit a 100mph pitch you barely see the ball lol

  • @MUTVexxxposed and a fastball is just one pitch, hitting in a cage is different than hitting live pitching.... in a cage the location is consistent so is the speed and movement. when you face live pitching, you have to deal with off-speed pitches and change of location, plus you can see the ball coming down the chute in a cage, whereas a pitcher can cover or hide the ball from the batters vision longer than a cage. bottom line is hitting in a cage is much easier than hitting a good live pitcher

  • @MUTVexxxposed 100mph straight over the top fastballs do not get missed at the big league level. You put a MLB player or even a college player in the cage like this and he will hit them all. They get missed in games not because of the spped but because of movement and location. I dont care if you throw it 120 if i know its going to be a cock shot right down the middle square it up everytime. But good try though you look young and small, in a few years you might do much better

  • @MUTVexxxposed pujols could

  • anyone can hit any mph in batting cages the shit is down the middle every time just put the bat out there.

  • u fuckin suck why arent u in da 60 mph cage

  • @703gotti i want you to post a video in a 100mph cage.

  • @MUTVexxxposed I want you to post a good video in a 100mph cage

  • @MUTVexxxposed pussy nigger i remeber my first at bat

  • The title should be Swinging at 100mph at the Batting Cages/

  • u should wear a helmet...

  • 100mph such a lie because if it's 100mph any1 would have the sense to put a helmet on

  • @awsome11550 you dont need one at the batting cages. it throws it right down the middle every time you dumbass

  • If I was you I would wear a helmet

  • You should've shortened your swing. It looks like you're not strong enough to have it so high off the shoulder.

  • cool

  • those cages were the best cant believe they took them down

  • looks like 90...

  • your only contact.

  • hahaha

  • Cool!
