  • 6:56 looks like john is looking right at you

  • i like this version better than the actual mandela concert!

  • your the luckiest man on EARTH to have been at this concert and to get the greatest band and 2 greatest guitarists ever on camera.

  • the first song on mtv

  • nice video ,,,

  • What a Freaking Awesome Opening....

NOW THAT's THE SONG I REMEMBER THAT OPENED MTV........

  • Wauw you had a great time there..

  • My Dad was a scaffolder and actually built this stage and was at the front for the whole concert, me and my mum watched it all night on tele and I remember dad ringing up late saying he had a piss below Eric Clapton under the stage! I was only 8 and have loved Dire Straits ever since!!

  • That's some of the most solid drumming I've ever heard. Go Terry!! Come on Wales!!

  • jantonice...great comment! Very succinct although articulate as well!

  • Awesome! Long Live ROCK N ROLL!!

  • You don't know how jealous I am of you being at this concert.

  • Lovely, but this shows how great Clapton really is, if you listen to the "Real" Mandela Gig you can see that he snaps of a string just before his solo and have improvise a totaly new one! Awsome!

  • You're absolutely right he does!!!

AND he broke a string at Knebworth 90 with Dire Straits too! Wierd or what!!!

  • @Leksingen Yes. But Clapton always improvises solos. No matter if he has 6 or 5 strings

  • Never seen any of these warm up videos from the mandela concert before, but I got the dvd from the real gig and that is really awesome! Well... This is "pretty good" too.

  • Fantastic, I have always wondered if a recording of the warm up existed, I still can't see what the amp is though, This is the year he changed from Booie to Soldano but has the changed happened yet.

  • i want tunnel of love of this concert please granada!!^^

  • I'm gonna upload it soon, maby next time I'm in town. I will be gone for a month now. Great song indeed.:)

  • Great interplay between two guitar giants and one great rock and roll tune!
