I was trainee typewriter maintenance mechanic in London when I was sent to an address in Kensington to service two typewriters. It turned out it was Miss Gardner's secretary I was talking to and who made me a nice cup of tea. @monumentfloyd what I mean by masculine is... the shape of her face. Usually a more "feminine" shape is an oval shape or inverted triangle. Ava's face was more triangular, with the bottom of her face appearing much wider than her forehead at certain angles. It photographs "masculine" because in our society we associate a feminine face with having a more delicate jawline a la Marilyn Monroe or Liz Taylor. It doesn't take away from Ava's beauty at all.

I realize it's inevitable that every single actress appearing on these What's My Line videos will be called "classy" by some, but can we save it?
