@TheAudiorub Like the other guy said... Thats all you need. Bad guys knocking on your door dont care if your using your grandpa's Remington 16ga or a top of the line Benelli... Its what comes out of it that they are going to be stressed about. I personally dont use any of the standard shotguns for home defense, i use a Saiga. Reliability of an AK and i have the option to send 30 rounds their way before reloading, unlike the 5 or 6 shot shottys this guy shows.

not everyone can afford benelli and the higher end shotguns. Mossbergs and remingtons are working man alternatives. The Maverick version and the New england clones work well for most also. If you can afford the higher end shotties, go for the saiga line first....massive, very reliable, shottie firepower. Can be highly modified.
@sunandmoon111 You have to see somehow. I play paintball. Paintball has a form of shooting called snap shooting. Poke out for a split second, shoot, and come back into your bunker. You position yourself so that nothing on your person is exposed, except your head and gun. That's good because you want to see what's happening with as little of you exposed as possible. You do the same thing here, except you don't blast away. You quickly look, and assess the situation.

The difference between promote and provide is very great indeed, therefore we must inform people of the proper meaning and original intent of such statements within the U.S. Constitution, lest we become victims or such ignorance. Depends on make, model, how old it is, the condition ect. You can get a shotgun anywhere from $199 all the way up to $800+. But you can usually get a new one for an average $340 to $380 range like an Remington 870 or Mossberg 500. Prices are different everywhere.
Cool. That's a pretty affordable price. I'd like to have one for home protection. Rifles have too much colateral, even pistols. You don't have to worry about pelets going through 2 or 3 people or through several walls and stuff.
Anywhere from 200 used to 400-700 new prices have gone up a lot since Anti-Gun Obummer got in office. Most American's are buying all the guns and ammo they can while they still can in America. Unfortunately the current administration has already submitted multiple anti- 2nd amendment bills to disarm American in order to insure their political agenda. Well, big city politicians usually advocate for strong gun laws because of the high rates of gun crimes in their regions. and hey, facts and figures of ownership aside, there's plenty of evidence and cultural weight behind my observation. as cultures go, America has this incredible historical bond with the gun. in modern society it's become a sort of fetishistic cultural theme. sure it's not all-pervasive, but it's there all the same.

I went ahead and checked out the US Constitution, and Article 1, Section eight says, "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defence and general welfare of the United States".
These clauses are meant to grant Congress the right to collect and spend tax money in the interest of general welfare, and they were the framework behind Social Security. Were the framers of the constitution therefore "socialists"?

Yep that's exactly right. When our fore-fathers wrote that they wrote that for building up a strong military and militia defense. Ironically American's have reinstated the old tradition of militia's and have been buying more guns and ammo this last year then in the last 15 years of guns and ammo bought and sold combined.

Depends on make, model, how old it is, the condition ect. You can get a shotgun anywhere from $199 all the way up to $800+. But you can usually get a new one for an average $340 to $380 range like an Remington 870 or Mossberg 500. Prices are different everywhere.

Well, big city politicians usually advocate for strong gun laws because of the high rates of gun crimes in their regions.
