I have always defended Metronomy, and most of their songs sound strange at first, but they always have talent behind them. This song, however, has a complete lack of singing ability, the bassline is ridiculously simple and boring, and the nonexistance of keyboards does nothing to help. This song has put me off Metronomy, massively so.
