  • WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE

    Visit: windturbinecarriedbywheels.weebly.com

ZERO-NOISE from gears and generators since they're sealed underground.

SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS since the turbines are slow-moving.

DOES NOT NEED TO OCCUPY A WIDER LANDSCAPE since the turbine can be very tall.

MAY BE LOWER-COST since it can use parts of junked trucks and others.

ELUDES HURRICANE FORCE since the blades automatically close.

HELPS THE WIND ENERGY COMPANIES since it is FREE FOR ALL.

  • PUT A WIND VAIN ON TOP USE A COMPUTER TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE BLADES AT THE RIGHT TIME .

  • maybe you should design a microphone..

  • I have seen this type of roof mount wind turbine called a "knife turbine"

  • @RoofMountWindTurbine , Yeah this is an old design , proven ..

  • gigantically huge (Love the outside shot), too much space, way way too many moving parts, invest in a spell checker for english, good try tho

  • Don't build this. There is better designs out there.

  • why the OuterLimits android voice-over...Are we to believe that this is science from outer space type aliens now?? geezzz

  • Cool idea and I always enjoy looking at all the ideas out there. This one I think has too many moving parts. I develop a turbine system to last a 30 year lifespan. In that pursuit, I try very hard to limit vibration and wear, mainly by limiting the number of moving parts. A turbine turns an average 400 rpm and that's a minute. Over the course of 30 years I am afraid that this would never go the distance making it prone to so much wear and prone to failure.

  • I appreciate your design logic but think a tradition blade setup would be far more efficient for the same amount of

materials and cost. Your open blade is wasting energy

pulling the suppressed blade through 180 degrees.

  • agreed this design is an energy waster... plus the cost and space usage is way higher than a normal turbine

  • "wing Tree " or CLAP TRAP as I 1st hade it

name "Wind Tree" is use,d by that uther one !

  • Give a good name to this one please.

About ice , we can install heaters in it ;-)

  • This looks great but What did you say? could you get some other person to do the commentary so we can understand.

  • Ice throw could make this design hard to use in urban areas... cool idea though!
