  • She's a first class bitch

  • i thought this video was going to be funny... my mistake

  • Haha... I love Maggie.... great politician with a great wit!

  • Haha. Loving the Political division in the comments. How about you all agree that whichever party get into power they will most likely fuck things up. Cons and Labs have done equally as much to balls up Britain. They only care about short term goals not the state of the Country when they leave.

  • I want her in Poland.

  • The only woman in England with a set of cast iron balls, look at the shithole its turned into under labour and its multi cultural nightmare.

  • She actually saved Britain from the Euro disaster...

  • @Gianlenni She also got us out of that terrible strike in 1979. If she hadn't done that we would be far far worse off now. So she did the right thing there. She was definetely a boss leader but she came across as a snobby grumpy witch most of the time.

  • I am from Greece. We,like fish in a barrel, 've taken the bait of the Eurozone. We abolished the most ancient european currency, the drachma, along our sovereignity without realising the fact that the EURO itself became the back-door of the european union.

We were mocking the Brits for defending the pound and the "thatcherism".Now, Thatcher is vindicated and we, the fools, ultimately became subjects of the 4th Reich.Of course, the Brits had Thatcher, while we had clowns like Simitis and Papandreou...

  • @yannibcommando We only had one clown .Brown the clown. I bet he could do more damage to your economy than Simitis and Papandreou and he would let the everyone in from the third world in as well. At least you can still have pride in your nation unlike our multi-cultural cesspit that is a dumping ground for the third world and scum of Europe created by Soclialist traitors.

  • Charles Kennedy at 6:06, Diane Abbott at 7:52. Humble beginnings...

  • Blair, Brown and Hague are all in there somewhere in the backbenches. Not having much luck spotting them, though.

  • DIE BITCH !!!

  • Did he say: Order Damit! at 3:09 .. ?

    :p

  • Damn, I cannot tear her and Meryl Streep apart, her look and accent were spot on!

  • Fuck the euro. Look at what happens to countries like Spain, Italy and Greece. Their currency doens't fit the mule. They don't sell, walking high heels.

  • she is right. Greece is now run by the IMF

  • amazing everything she said was true

  • She had guts and.......balls!

  • David Cameron isn't a Conservative, he's a Liberal, if he's so bovered about making the Conservative Party more Liberal then he should've joined the Lib Dems. There's two Conservative MP's Julian Smith reperesenting my constituency, and Andrew Jones MP for Harrogate and Knaresboro which is basically down the road to were I live, they both voted strongly in favour of more EU intergration, they're not Conservative, they're Liberal. The Conservative Party isn't called Conservative for no reason.

  • @epdavies100 well said.

  • @FadeToBlack888 Thank You

  • She was totally vindicated on Europe and the Euro and she was right about Labour too, they always f*ck the economy up and leave the country in a mountain of debt.

  • @aeronuk1 Totally agree! Labour under Blair & Brown were accused by the Tories of stealing their policies. "Stealing our clothes" was the cry! And they did!

  • @aeronuk1 ........yes and its all coming out even more in the washing now how these Labour wankers and traitors relaxed the border controls to OUR country and all they can scream is "racists" in a pathetic attempt to deflect from their willful swamping of this country with unwanted immigrants.

  • @Bellalodicci9 Yes traitors they certainly are. They done everything possible to open our borders up and let the third world flood in. The Labour party loaths everything British, our history and traditions.

  • @aeronuk1 The current Financial crisis wasn't caused by Labour, it was caused by Irresponsible financial practices engaged in by people who mostly walked away scot free. The sad thing is that there are many people (other than the 9 morons who've given you the thumbs up) who believe this nonsense. Regardless of whatever people think of Labour it is important for intelligent debate that people get their facts straight before spewing this utter trash. Bloody sheep...

  • @Rantomon Gordon Brown was Labour Chancellor of the Exchequer for ten years, he must have known what was going on in the financial sector, if not then he should have done because he was warned enough. It was his duty to make sure there was adequate regulation of the financial sector..he failed to do that.

  • @aeronuk1 He regulated nothing. He let the bankers shaft him right up the arse. Inept, incompetent and out of control. Worst PM and Chancellor ever. The damage he has done to this country is insurmountable.

  • @aeronuk1 One of the early triggers to the current financial crisis was the issue of sub-prime mortgages in the USA and the inevitable default on those loans. It's easy for the Tories and the right wing press to continually blame Gordon Brown/Labour for the recession as people need someone to blame for the mess we are all in but it is inaccurate and unhelpful. It will help the Tories to score some cheap political points but it won't help us out of the hole we are in, that should be the priority.

  • @Rantomon Brown was warned in 2003 by Vince Cable that if unchecked the inflated house price bubble caused by reckless borrowing and lending practices would cause great damage to the economy . The Slack-jawed Cyclops turned a blind eye to this portending crisis as he thought rabid house price inflation somehow represented growth. Money poured into non-producing assets instead of manufacturing infrastructure and jobs. It has also denied a whole younger generation of home ownership.

  • @aeronuk1 you cant solely blame labour for the debt, they certainly didnt help, but the whole of the western world is in debt and recession. is that all labours fault? hardly

  • @incoqnito You're right, Labour isn't solely to blame for the mess, but their reckless and incompetent management of the economy made it much worse than it needed to be. Look at Australia or Germany as examples of how countries should be run, they aren't in the mess we're in despite worldwide debt and recession.

  • @aeronuk1 the same argument could be made against the conservatives though, they didnt support our industries when they were in trouble, so now we are in recession we have nothing to fall back on

  • @incoqnito You are right, I agree with you about that, the conservatives didn't support our industries when they should have...Still, I think the conservatives are slightly the lesser of the two evils. To be honest, I probably won't even vote at the next election. There is not enough choice.

  • @aeronuk1 Vote UKIP?

  • @aeronuk1 Margret thatcher. The Woman I without a doubt have the MOST respect for economically and politically. No one else comes close. god bless her.

  • @tehatemachine Horrendous personality, hope she dies soon. painfully

  • @incoqnito goes to show how much of a sick twisted fuck you are :D

Especially one who believes in torture.

  • @tehatemachine who said anything about torture, think youre either a pretty sick fuck yourself for jumping to that conclusion or just completely stupid, dont reply to this please you sicko, i wont bother reading it

  • @incoqnito If i ever met you in real life. I'd slap you right upside your fucking head, Maybe mommy and daddy never taught you how to be self reliant. Typical, you are probably so gad damn lazy that you've never worked a day in your life. Never had to sacrifice for anything, Just inheritance being the lazy spoiled fuck you are. Typical. HAHAHAHAHA now everyone is going to laugh at you.

  • @tehatemachine You really shouldnt talk such shit on the internet, you just embarass yourself and the people you support. ive worked every day of my life and you need to stop this pointless flaming, stop being so mad, its very unbecoming of you xxxxx

  • @incoqnito How on earth can you be from the U.K? Ah i guess a bit of that socialist disease is still there like a blot on it's scutcheon. You really are a worthless piece of shit, I'm going to rip your balls off so you cannot contaminate the rest of the world with your socialist filth.

  • Comment removed

  • @tehatemachine u mad?

  • @aeronuk1 Doesn't matter what she thinks about the UK not joining the Euro. The UK is in a depression anyway!

  • Thatcher... amo essa senhora!

  • We love you maggie. Shame on you, Labour... you gave away our right to self rule in just 13 years. your party and your benefit sucking voters should hand their heads in shame!!

  • @rougebaron76 Labour really are a bunch of tossers. You can only imagine what the Slack-jawed Cyclops would have done in the Falklands crisis. He would have let the Argentinians have the Falklands Islands in exchange for all the scum of Argentinian society being allowed over here. He was just a useless, incompetent wanky marxist weirdo from Fife who cared nothing for British culture, heritage or the wishes of its people.

  • The comment page for this video is a Tory circle-jerk.

  • @CreatedInChicago .... ann coulter?? yeeeeks ...

  • @CreatedInChicago ummm...Elizabeth Warren :)

  • "A back door to a federal European state"... it's almost like a prophecy. Just think, if we hadn't had 13 years of Labour (and a couple years of Major), the EU would look very different to how it is today. Labour allowed the socialists like Barroso to take complete control. Thatcher also mentions how disastrous Labour's economic policies are... look how true that was.

I hope future generations of voters watch this video and learn from it.

  • GO HELL, BITCH!

  • I admit I never gave Maggie much thought. Saw her on tv as a kid and she scared me more than clowns. The Iron Lady makes me want to know more. Yet after reading the real Maggie snubbed the film I wont see it until I get facts. Then if I ever do I will know whats real.

  • Thank God we had Thatcher to save Britain and the British economy from near collapse in 1979. I'd shudder to think how much worse off Britain would be without her.

  • Long live the Iron Lady

  • The Iron Lady! Go Margaret!

  • @viktoruschka Millions huh... "millions"? What definitely killed "Millions" were Hitler (10 million or so) and Communism (100 million or so).

  • 100 Million? Communism killed 100 Million? No, no, no! :) Your statistics are wrong, señor.... But BTW, please tell me, how many people has Britain killed... You British people have a wide history of not minding how many Indians, Africans, and even Chinese people you have killed. I suppose that you don't even remember of these deaths which were the foundation of your empire... Not even the American have killed so many

  • @viktoruschka Yes, Stalin made Hitler look like a child. Heck, what is the estimate for North Korea now? How many million died under Mao? I am not British, I just demand that people like you know your history before you make evil accusations. And yes, I am using "evil" like it is supposed to be used.

  • @viktoruschka We remember. We remember giving up the Empire. We also remember giving Canada the right to declare war for themselves after dragging them into WW1. We also remember the volunteers who came from all corners of the Empire during WW1. Not conscripts; volunteers. Finally, we remember maturing as a country. Recognising that the mistakes of the past, of having a cruel Empire build on destruction, should never be repeated by any nation. That is why we criticize Communsim

  • @geek49203 My dear geek, aren't you aware of how many people have died whit the British consent? MILLIONS, yes. In India, in Africa, in Latin America (the Malvinas, for example) You can be a pacifist, but please be aware of what has been done in your Government's name. Stalin was a mass murderer indeed, but if we check history, the British Empire has killed much more people than 100 Million

  • i wish we killed that many

  • @viktoruschka I am not a Brit. I am also not a pacifist -- shoot at me and you will die. Where are you getting your numbers? What valid study are you citing? You might hate the Brits (fair enough) but that does not give your the right to lie. If they killed so many why are most of their former colonies part of the Commonwealth, happily playing Cricket and paying tribute to ER on her birthday? BTW, I have a very close person tie with the Philippines.

  • @viktoruschka 'Malvinas' In 1982 who invaded the islands? The Argentines were, on that incidence, the war-mongering colonialist bastards.

Spread your hate-mongering filth someplace else.

  • 9:05 How can you sleep through this ?

  • that bitch is scary!

  • Well said, Margeret!...

  • And BTW this woman was no different from Hitler

  • @viktoruschka Don't be pathetic.

  • @cseden78 I'm not being pathetic, my dearest friend! :) She was quite dictatorial!

  • @viktoruschka You are pathetic. You need to get an education if you think she was no different to Hitler. Your statement is absurd.

  • @bond007db9 Well I studied at Cambridge... You know that we Latin American third-world people can have such an education when we have enough money to pay it. Or are you implying that British universities aren't good enough? :) That would be a serious fault in your system, mate... However, maybe my statement is absurd. You are completely right when you say that I'm comparing her to Hitler. I really exaggerated my point, but please agree that she wasn't the beloved leader that you seem to pretend

  • @viktoruschka First off i am not your mate. Second, nowhere in my message did i mention universities or implied that British universities are not good enough. You are merely covering your ridiculous statement that Thatcher and Hitler were very alike. Coming out with quotes that she was a dictator etc and claiming she had serious issues of credibility, it is clear you know nothing about the politics of the Thatcher era.

  • @bond007db9 Ok, ok, you're not my mate! :) I just thought about a nice British pub-like fight, but I notice that you haver VERY STRONG opinions ... Sorry, I didn't want to upset you! No, no, no!!! :)

  • @viktoruschka You obviously have no concept of evil, of of the history of the Nazi years. You obviously have no communications skills where you can argue your point, choosing instead to "go Hitler" from the safety of your chair. Well, pretty sure that millions of Brits, many of whom didn't agree with Thatcher, would tell you that you are WRONG in your comparison.

  • @geek49203 Sorry, obviously English is not my native language.... I know that I didn't make my point, however you should agree with me that Mrs. Thatcher was a close friend to Mr. Reagan and that they both were "democratically elected" dictators,

  • @viktoruschka I mean, their actions were quite dictatorial. As far as I know, many British people didn't agree with Mr. Thatcher's policies, so the "millions of Brits" you talk about are a little bit overstated. The woman had serious issues of credibility, and I don't need to be British to know that

  • @viktoruschka Thatcher strongly believed in the following of the rule of law and democracy. She was extremely opposed to populist measures implementing totalitarian government such as the likes of Hitler and Stalin. For a start, one of her favourite books on state administration was Hayek's "The road to serfdom". She may have had many opponents, riots and the criminal IRA blowing things up during her term, but to compare that to Nazi Germany or the holocaust is lazy and foolish.

  • Well, it's the house of the commons.... in the house of the Lords there is no such pathetic debate! :)

  • Tried to find Geoffrey Howe's glorious resignation and can't find it anywhere. What a shame!

The seminal speech, that marked the end of the Thatcher era is nowhere to be found?

I've got the popcorn. Someone post it if they have it.

Denis Healey said being attacked by Howe was like being ravaged by a 'dead sheep!'

    How wrong he was!

  • die soon you evil ratbag

  • @WAXY950 "evil" is a child's words.

  • @antisadism ""evil" is a child's words." (sic) no, it is a very adult word that is used by children sometimes when they can't argue their point any other way.

  • Thank God Labour weren't in power in 1990. It's just a shame they had 1997-2010 to ruin this country again. God knows why people vote for them. Many parts of Britain seem like a 3rd world colonization, and we are near bankrupt. I wish we could genetically breed a new Thatcher & Enoch. Clegg and Milipede would sign away our sovereignty in a second. For some reason they think an unelected clique of bureaucrats can handle out economy better than us. F*CK LABOUR.

  • @Alieninmyhouse Couldn't agree more. Thatcher certainly made some bad decisions but nothing compared to Labours deliberate attempt to colonize our country with ANYONE whether they were needed or not purely to increase their electorate is just completely treacherous and despicable. If you want English as a second language in our own country and our heritage and culture eroded to nothing just vote the Labour wankers in again. Think back to 12 years ago to how our country was then.

  • After reading 4 pages of comments the only political issue im concern about is the apparent rapid decline of our education system. And maybe the youtube comunity's natural ability to spout ill-inform 'Facts' and pointless insults about whatever subject they happen to be having a dick-swinging contest over.

Toodle Pip you special people you. x

  • @47tont how is she a war criminal?

  • She took her orders from Lord Rothschild via The Royal Institute Of Foreign Relations (corporate think tank) just like puppets Blair and Cameron and every other traitor Prime Minister. They all work for the power elite based in the city of London and the Vatican trying to create a new world order as described by Georgw H Bush in 1990.

  • @aeronuk1 oh look another tin foil hat muppet on the internet

  • Utter bollocks. Thatcher took the Uk deeper into Europe than any other PM.

  • @sail1948 no that was john major and gordon brown. maggie signed the SEA act becuase her party made her and only later she realised that the EU wasnt about free trade but about a united states of europe

  • I want to keep the pound!

  • Wow this woman has vision.

  • she has the most annoying voice ever

  • IT YOU LIKE THIS VOTE UKIP

  • @sparky6952 or vote conservative?? We should aim to place England in a position where we can reap the benefits of the EU whilst keeping our own currency?

  • She was a little to focused on ideology. She was a control freak, but considering her gender, she had to be to have her voice heard. The Iron Lady. When you look at the figures actually, she rose spending on important sectors and cut spending on military, and to me, that's pretty courageous.

  • @mjakes20 a control freak to you because she is a woman...if it was a man you would say he was a ballsy hero. Same old story and strong woman freaks out weak men.

  • @oshun1235 I mainly complemented her and you saw the one flaw. I admire Thatcher and look forward to seeing that film about her. Also grow up into the 21st century, women have equal rights and you shouldn't be scanning for that cliche.

  • There's an e-petition up to get the private sector to fund Thatcher's "state" funeral. Surely she, and her followers, would agree that it would be unbfair to expect the taxpayer to fund a display of pomp and ceremony, and handing it to the private sector would offer the best choices for those organising the debacle, I mean ceremony. It's in keeping with tory ideology. Everyone wins.

    It's at epetitions, number 18914

  • No matter your political leanings, this was remarkably prescient. As flawed as representative democracy is, I would never endorse the surrender of our sovereignty to some external entity.

  • @reniam I would, I hate this country

  • @reniam What does it matter? Once you get beyond a local level the effect will be exactly the same. I.e, someone with no idea of the situation calling the shots.

  • @reniam

    Forget politics for a moment.

Margaret Hilda Thatcher was the strongest Prime Minister we have seen in a generation.

Like her or hate her, you knew exactly where you stood with her

She would never have taken us into any conflict without justification (The Falklands)

Tony Blair's premiership will always be tarnished with Iraq

Margaret Thatcher was one of our strongest Prime Ministers but like all strong leaders they do not know when to leave

They have to be asked or removed

  • @llandudnoboy Thatchers gov. introduced the nationality bill in 80/81. This bill took away certain rights of people living in places such as the Falkland from claiming automatic UK citizenship. It was actually this policy coupled with the withdrawal of a British submarine patrol from the Falklands at that time that gave the Argentine Junta the idea that the UK was perhaps not that concerned about the islands.

  • What a bitch. People are so stupid these days. It makes all of us look bad. "Iron Lady"? My fucking ass.

  • @slapshot37GNR <<< IRONY!

  • She's got a terrible accent. Some halfwit told me it's a sign of articulation and education but you can be articulate and educated without sounding so awful.

  • estamos esperando que te mueras

  • die die die!

  • 7:22 - The chap walking off, guess the pubs have just opened.

  • @Zichiable

No I went out for the rest of the day to do some christmas shopping and visit my girl friend, some of us have a life away from sitting typing away all day on a pc !!

  • @cherrytime22 Perhaps I've misunderstood something, I didn't realise that I'd addressed you previously? I was referring to the man in the video.

  • ''Sherry'' not as you have written ''Cherry'' ok.

Bristol Cream is now bottled in Spain, not Poland as you stupidly say. My company was not purchased by another company, it was already the biggest wine and spirits company in the world and remains so. My company fought this ruling for ten years before being forced to shut down its operations where I worked. Thousands of jobs were lost directly also contractors etc.and the loss of many jobs at the local glassworks that supplied our bottles

  • @cherrytime22 Don't pick me up on a silly mistake, I responded to your last reply before I had time to read your most recent,I apologise Im still not quite sure if it was one of the biggest it had to close down because of one product,And of course when I suggested Poland don't take it seriously, EU rulings are ther to protect the comsumer OK it's not nice if you lose your job but one mans loss is another mans gain,What was the problem as they weren't allowed to carryon producing other drinks

  • @cherrytime22 Obviously we cant bottle wine here and call it champagne can we, So we have to follow the rules like anyone else! But there's so much rubbish spoken about the EU health and safety gone mad etc.I remember a couple of years ago when the health and safety go blamed for stopping children playing 'conkers' in the school playground ,when in fact it had nothing whatever to do with it,It was one headmaster inthe UK that banned it because a child got hit on the head is that daft ?

  • Thatcher nearly ruined the country. Now Cameron will finish it. It's a fascist state now;

the police have the authority to use water canon and live ammo on its own citizens in the event of a disturbance in a demonstration. Cameron wants rid of the EU Charter of Human Rights, while corporations like Tesco are allowed to use JSA claimants as unpaid slaves.

Stop whinging people: the Workhouses are next, and stop complaining about the government.....it's NOT a democracy; they don't care about YOU.

  • @mzkumo As side watcher I could say otherwise: Country now is run by pussies, who cannot even stop simple racial riot and pillaging caused by police not keen on more strictier actions.

And think about JSA as people who eating entire countries social budget: better them working on TESCO than not working at all and getting full paid for nothing. That is the biggest problem: workhouses and freeloaders are draining country dry.

  • Ah! 3:26...Neville Chamberlain is alive!

  • VOTE RON PAUL 2012

A vote for Dr. Paul is a vote for yourself. He wants to limit gov intrusiveness in our lives & allow US to make our own choices. Stop politicians and the elites from thinking that they are so smart that they know how to run our lives better than we do. He is one of the few politicians that will make difficult decisions, he will balance the budget by his 2nd year, while other politicians plan to balance the budget after their term

LISTEN, UNDERSTAND, DECIDE. RON PAUL 2012

  • Labour are just pure shit and traitors and now rely on the immigrant rather than the working class vote and they know it !.

  • The type of Conservative Party in the 1980s is nothing like the party we have today. The conservatives now are just the same as labour and the lib dems . I am not saying UKIP is identical or will make the same small number of mistakes Thatcher made, but UKIP does have the tough style of Thatcher.

    VOTE UKIP!!!

  • @epdavies100 UKIP is far right?? Conservative centre right and BNP is extreme right!?? ANyway, I think the only problem is the Lib Dems - they are a waste of space - no wonder they never win general elections. Labour are the thing of the past and the Conservatives can actually think ahead forward to the future and plan things well in advance where as the Labour party cannot seem to think beyond a few days ahead!!

  • @Supersmooth007 I mean can you honestly see Ed Milliband leading our country? I cannot see him as party leader let alone PM! Thanks to Blair we are a much weaker country now in terms of laws. Most of are laws are made in Europe by communists in Brussels!

  • @Supersmooth007 The trouble with celebrity worshipping cunts like you is you look at bsomeones face or mac or coat and then it makes your mind up.Try if you can to concentrate onwhat he says rather than what he looks like,I suppose you are one of these cunts forever looking at yourself in the mirror are you,Fuck me I don't mind an exchange of views but who told you that you informed on politics you haven't got a fuckin clue what you are on about daily mail misinformed cretin

  • @Supersmooth007 UKIP is certainly not far-right, UKIP is a libertarian and liberally economic party, while the people who are on the far-right are authoritarian and socialist. the next election will either have the result of a labour majority or another hung parliament, the conservatives have no hope. UKIP a few days ago were beating the Lib Dems in the polls.

  • @epdavies100 So you mean Liberals have more hope than conservatives!? Interesting given Conservatives are ahead in the Polls! - Labour will have an over all majourity!? Good God and with Ed Milliband leading our country!?! Beggers belief! Ed Miliband doesn't have any courage, persona, he does not have that Prime Ministerial Character that Blair had! But Blair I hated, however he had power!

  • @Supersmooth007 The party which has experienced the largest increase in the polls is UKIP. Yes Red Ed Miliband does not have any strength, charisma or patriotism in him, but Cameron has the same problem, he is weak and Pro-EU.

  • @epdavies100 I thought saying NO to Germany and NOT signing the new EU deal and using the VETO is a clear sign he wants to back away from Europe and put Britain first!? How can Cameron be pro-EU!? Labour were more pro-EU Blair wanted us to join the single currency, Blair gave away our national soverignty and now we are far weaker as a country. All of our laws are made outside the UK!

  • @Supersmooth007 All our laws made outside the country where the fuck did you get that from? Are all the terrorist laws made outside the country? the refusal to adopt the 48 hour week made outside the country? and a whole lot more workers rights that dont see the light of day in this country that others enjoy OUTSIDE the country. I was of the the opinion your dear leader was to abolish the human rights act how can that be made OUTSIDE the country YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A FUCKIN IGNORANRT CUNT

  • @p4eugeot Check my latest video, and I am not responding to your comment because your words speak for themselves! We are far weaker now thanks to Blair who gave away our national sovereignty and powers to the EU. Yes I will agree with whatever you say my friend!

  • And if we differ politically I do not hate people and insult them for the sake of it, everyone has their own Political views. This video is not about council houses or manufacturing, it's about keeping Britain trade safe, retaining pound sterling & national sovereignty etc! Its immature swearing at me which confirms your IQ really! You were dragged up - I was brought up! Try learning to speak English & debate, I am sure they taught you that at school, assuming yours wasn't free!

  • @Supersmooth007 Nobody can stop you having your view,But you are just spewing bile and nonesense for the sake of it,I don't believe even a fuckin idiot like you could claim the last, or any for that matterLbour party / goverment was any way shape or form representing anything in the shape of socialism, can you explain why you think it was a socialist gocernment? You are nothing but a rich twerp, who's been nowhere, living off your parents you idle bastard go and try working for £6-00 AN HOUR

  • @Supersmooth007

I have worked for 3 company's that were shut down causing many redundencies due to EU rules and regulations. One was an international wine and spirits company which was forced to move its bottling plants to europe in the early 1990's. This company had been bottling wines in the Uk for many years giving much needed employment to thousands of workers in Uk. When we had the referendum about joining the European common market, it was said to be for just easier trading with Europe.

  • @cherrytime22 Could you enlighten us what were the regulations that 'forced' them to shut down,Companies don't close down because it happens to be tuesday,They move thei capital to where it can be better used ie the exploitation of the workers,And when you mention easier trading do you think Honda.Nissan jaguar Bentley etc are all going to stay here if we are out of Europe,The reason that thay are here in the first place was access to the European market we were told companies come here

  • @p4eugeot

The reason that the company's shut down was that a rule was bought in that forbade the company's that I worked for bottling wines in uk that came from the european market. Thus Bristol Cream Sherry for instance, bottled for hundreds of years in uk was forced to move its bottling plants to Spain. The drink used to be shipped over in tankers and bottled in uk but the EU forbade it and from the year 1992 the drinks had to be bottled in the country of origin.

  • @cherrytime22 Then it wasn't forced to close down thay were told to stop bottling cherry under the guise it came from Spain when it didn't, No different for champagne, stilton cheese, meltonmowbray pies, and more recently cornish pasties I would have thought it to be a good consumer friendly ruling, I will delve into what you claim and I would bet my last penny it was taken over by a bigger company and moved to polandBristol cream to me doesn't suggest it should come from Spain

  • @cherrytime22 Companies come here because of the restriction on the working people no 48 hour working week,Sack people when the want, almost immpossible to go on strike, worst pensions, longest hours, shortest holidays, worst redundacy payments, No right to your job back even if you win an employment tribunal,no rights for agency workers,a bosses paradise this country and don't you think any different get out and see what a great place this country is Its nothing but a dump

  • @cherrytime22 I wwould bet my last penny you are an other one who can't wait for Saturday to watch millionaires kick aball around, and then get paid £90.000 for it so you can talk about it all week, and in the meantime theserich bastards are ruining the lives of many many people who the don't give a shite for,Be under no illusion these cunts haven't finished with us yet, they've on just started, wake up and smell the horlicks they are stuffing their wallets with 50 pound notes it's a fuckin joke

  • @p4eugeot

I dont know you but for your question, no I think its obscene that footballers get paid this amount of money for playing their sport. The rest of your letter is so obscure and full of swearing.

  • @cherrytime22 I'm sorry if it's complicated for you that you can't see,or choose not to see that the rich are getting richer why the rest of us are getting poorer and poorer, and they are making sure we can't fight back, I notice you didn't respond to why your company was 'forced by the EU ' to leave can we be told as I would be very interested that they had the power to close down companies I will take this matter up with my MP if you give me the details I don't believe you

  • @p4eugeot

Read my reply and you will see why the company's were shut down.

  • @p4eugeot

I have written down why my company was shut down and its a bit late to take up with your mp something that happened in 1990. I am not lying and I resent that comment of yours, I wish it was not true but I and many others lost our jobs because of Eu rules, fact not fiction, ok.

  • @p4eugeot

I did not work for the company that owned and bottled ''Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry''

I am using that for an example of one company that was also affected by this ruling.

The company that I worked for was far larger and had a far bigger workforce with a far more extensive range of wines and spirits.

  • @cherrytime22 Applicant filed, in its reply brief, a disclaimer of the word "Cream" apart from the mark. The disclaimer is accepted and hereby entered. Thus, the only issue remaining on appeal is whether the word "Bristol," when applied to applicant's goods, is primarily geographically descriptive of them under Section 2(e)(2) of the Act. [FN3] When the refusal was made final, applicant appealed. Applicant and the Examining Attorney submitted briefs and both appeared at an oral hearing before th

  • @cherrytime22 The Examining Attorney contends that Bristol is the name of a place (Bristol, England) known generally to the public and that a goods/place association is presumed because applicant's goods come from the geographical place named in the mark. In support of her position the Examining Attorney relied upon an excerpt from Alexis Lichine's New Encyclopedia of Wines & Spirits (5th ed. 1979) which shows the following listings: Bristol Cream: sweetened old Oloroso Sherry

  • @p4eugeot

After not believing that many thousands lost jobs in Uk after eu rules you now know that I spoke the truth. These companys that many worked for had been in the UK for a very long time. It was far more economical to ship the wines over here in large tankers rather than send the wines here already bottled. So as well as putting us all out of work it also put the price of the product up. This decision forced unemployment upon many british workers and you seem to support that !

  • @cherrytime22 I am not doubting you for a minute,The only reason I have just a bit of support for the EU is worker protection,Like the one that started today the agency workers rights bill. And untill eirther the government ,which seems very unlikely regardless of which one it is,O rthe unions start protecting their workers the yes for the EU bring it on! How many jobs have been lost to outsourcing? to other countries the Eu plays no part in that are you just as concerned about them?

  • @Supersmooth007

We would be better off if we had the same deal with Europe as Switzerland, which seems to do quite well for itself being outside of the EU, being allowed to trade freely with Europe and the rest of the world. Why be paying huge amounts of money to be ruled by Brussels, a job we can do far cheaper and better ourselves ? Of course the euro was always a very flawed idea and its only a matter of time before it comes crashing down with some countries, Greece for a start, leaving

  • @Supersmooth007

The cost to UK of being in the EU is 45 Million pounds a day !!

  • @cherrytime22 More like £50 million per day!

  • @Supersmooth007 I have no interest whatsoever in watching your right wing propaganda, shit, You are a fool and easily mislead through your ignorance, you are pathetic little creep, who you and your ilk have an inbuilt hatred of working class people,It's the likes of you cunts who would have children up the chimmnys again if you allowed to,you cunts put more on a horse, that what some people 'earn'in afuckin year you horrible disgisting shower of stagnant shit I love it when one of you cunt dies
