  • @50CALASSASSIN lies, model 29's were put into production in 1955 and plenty of people bought them before this movie, it was after the movie when they became extreemely popular

  • @NiagaraFalls4424 hahahaha goddamn i love that quote

  • @50CALASSASSIN they actually used a 41 magnum

  • loooooooooooool....that was good kid...old guy liked it.

  • @50CALASSASSIN Words of Wisdom!

  • He actually did blow his head clean off in this version. lol :D

  • @yethboth I guess this means Notre Dame will be looking for a new mascot...

  • @50CALASSASSIN actually the model 29 went into production in 1956, look up Elmer Keith... the movie just popularized it and really upped the market for them

  • HAHAHAH!!

  • LOL poor leprechaun XD

  • hahaha and down goes Lucky!

  • Somehow that didn't look like the actor andrew robinson...I might be wrong??

  • LOLOLOL nuff said

  • Lol he got his. I guess he isnt so lucky anumore... so thats why i never eat "lucky" charms...

  • LOLOL they're magically ... dead.

  • Thanks for the info. Another often over looked point is the load the character is supposedly using. Harry admits to using a light .44 special round for better stopping power and less recoil than the .357 magnum in the movie Magnum Force which is much more believable.

  • Back, and I mean way back in those days, the .44 magnum was not a popular handgun by any means. I believe the studio actually used .41 magnums for some parts of the movie as the model 29 44 was hard to find. The movie Dirty Harry changed all that, suddenly the hard kicking .44 magnum became very popular. There's much more powerfull handguns nowdays.

  • by the way, not then but now, the most powerful production handgun cartridge is the S&W model 500 even more-so than the .50 action express, due to the S&W packing more powder. This is due to the fact that it is to be applied to to S&W .500 handgun, used for hunting and wilderness protection(not to practical for police officers, due to recoil and the fact that you only get 5-6 shots, there is also the factor of over penetration)

  • lol

  • HAHHAHAHA

  • Yes i know lol but theres only one full clip of this on there.

  • Why cant anyone show the real clip? is there a copyright law or something?

  • the only thing you missed in this one was the guy falling into the water and the sound of the splash

  • exactly, it doesn't matter if it's a .22 or a minigun, you're still dead either way headshot, dur!

  • Being that the caliber number indicates the diameter of the bullet (.50=1/2" dia) it stands to reason that a .454 is larger than a .44. There's such a thing as a.50 cal handgun. But, truly, if it's pointed at your head, does size really matter?:-)

  • @berrios4 There is a .50 cal handgun : Desert Eagle

  • @mak81 the Desert Eagle had not been invented then

  • @thegodfather204 I know - I was answering to the guy that said "there is no such thing as a .50 cal handgun".

  • Dang, didn't see that coming.

    Genius!!! I LOL'd...a lot.

  • I thought 50 cal is the most powerful handgun in the world?

  • dude, thats a minigun

  • 50. cal is the size of the

    bullet

  • 50 cal is more powerful ...

  • yeah, but there is no 50. cal handgun, a handgun implies that, you know, you can generally shoot it with one hand. 50 caliber's are generally mounted, and yeah, they'll cut you in half, they're meant mostly for use against armored vehicles.

  • No, you're mostly correct. Even at the time of filming, the .44 Magnum was not the most powerful handgun in the world, being outpaced by other rounds such as the .454 Casull.

I don't know whether the .50 AE is the most powerful handgun round though, there may be larger ones. At any rate it's the most powerful commonly recognized cartridge.

  • No the .454 Casull, .480 Ruger, .460 S&W Magnum and the .500 S&W Magnum, surpass the .50 Action Express significantly, but those cartridges are for Production handguns, the .600 Nitro Express when utilized in a Pfeifer Zeliska .600 Nitro Express revolver s the Most powerful Handgun cartridge in the world.

  • Havn't been involved with guns for many years so some of these cartridges sound down right freakish to me that you mention. The only .600 Nitro Express I remember was a double barrelled elephant rifle that guys like Elmer Kieth used on safaris years ago! Can't be the same cartridge, I'm hoping.

  • I'm pretty sure it is actually, search it up here in youtube, theres a viideo with one.

  • Just saw the video of the 600 nitro express handgun, two guys at the shooting range. That's just nuts!

  • Dude ever see the one video of a bunch of Arab guys shooting a .577 Tyrannosaur rifle and everytime they shoot it it flies off their hands!

  • So, Keith and them are your heroes, 16-p?

  • At the time the movie was made it was the .44 that was the most powerful!

  • Thumbs up

  • well done..................still laughing!

  • lmfao that was funny

  • unexpected
