If you are in former Soviet, you have converted to Russian Cyrillic scripts long time ago. If you are in Turkey, they didn't want anything to do with Arab. Ataturk forced every Turks to use Latin alphabets because he wanted to get rid of any Arab influence! Be thankful to Chinese. Only Chinese let its minority to do what they wanted.
