I may not know you, but I am proud of you for going out there and showing them what you've got! My trainer says that I can't show at rated hunter shows because my pony's too small, and a pinto POA (POAs, pintoes, and hunter shows...none of them go together!). Everyone wants me to focus on my new Thoroughbred, and get upset with me when I ask if I can show my pony! So I am working my butt off to prove what this pony can do! That's so awesome! congrats!! i know what you mean by the underdog thing my horses live in the back yard and i see my trainer once a week usually (i show arab circuit mostly sport horse and my trainer trains mainly warmbloods and shes not a big name)so its nice to go to big shows and show those big barns they aren't the only one's who can go out and win something.
