@greggzccfclfc The extra string is definitely worth having and you'll be able to play a lot more than you would witha 4 string. I'm currently using a Peavey AC BXP 5 string, fantastic bass and as my 4 string I have an Ibanez Iceman, when I upgraded a while back it took about a week or so to get used to the extra string/wider neck.. However looking to upgrade to a 6 string though. :P should be fun.
The extra string especially comes in handy if you're into Jazz and whatnot. :)
