Watching this game from start to finish 3 years ago I somehow remembered that the Gators dominated the whole game. Looking at the highlight, it clearly does not seem that way. I think with Tebow to Harvin and the rest of the offense, the Defense (where do I start), and the greatest Special Teams ever assimilated; I and everyone else had so much trust built up in this program that every touchdown just seemed like it counted way more than 7 points. I will never forget this team, Go Gators!

UF deserved this game. OU choked big time.UF defense and OU defense, I thought were very good. Made plays on defensive end. Gerald Mccoy/ Harris and Wright/Black made critical interceptions. I moved to OKC in 2005 from Florida, die hard Florida Gator fan but would watch OU football and now the Thunder games. It wasn't until the 2009 BCS National Championship Game that I really began to hate the Oklahoma fans, not the teams. I had Florida tags and Gator decals on my car and had my car ransacked because the Sooners lost. It seems now because of the fans that I find myself cheering every time Oklahoma looses at any sport. Amazing illegal hit to open the game. Leading with the head to the throat and arriving before the ball. Neither were called. Both a result of Home field advantage for Florida which set the tone for the game. Had this game been played in Tulsa, OU wins going away.

Plenty of big games in all sports have been decided by the refs making a bad call or not making a call they should have made, even with the losing team playing great. '06 NBA finals games 3 & 5, '75 World Series game 3, multiple AFC/NFC title games and SB's on pass interference calls or none calls or holding calls.

@Ldale11 I do say that. A great team never let's the refs decide a game for them. Great teams take bad calls and turn them into motivation. Great teams WIN!!! Besides, it wasn't pass interference anyways, the ball hit the Fla defender as he hit the reciever which is perfectly legal!!! Like I said, go whine somewhere else. Sooners got beat fair and square, they had 3 chances in the red zone and got shut down. argument over. Thanks!

I moved to OKC in 2005 from Florida, die hard Florida Gator fan but would watch OU football and now the Thunder games. It wasn't until the 2009 BCS National Championship Game that I really began to hate the Oklahoma fans, not the teams. I had Florida tags and Gator decals on my car and had my car ransacked because the Sooners lost. It seems now because of the fans that I find myself cheering every time Oklahoma looses at any sport. BTW tonight OKC thunder lost to Dallas Mavs 112 to 105! 3 to 1!

@Zamarra3 just remember every championship game in the last 10 yrs OU had to play the opponent at home in 2000 it was FSU in flordia USC in cali the LSU at home we even played these gators in flordia we missed a TD with 2 sec. in the 2 QT and a FG so it wouldve been tied but our FG game was terrible that year

The never agreed with the common football quote "Offense wins games but defenses win championships" but after this game its crazy how true that really is. Scoring 60+ a game is unbelievable but a phenomenal offense will more times than not be beaten by a phenomal defense. Same could be said for the Giants-Patriots Super Bowl.

Last year was our rebuilding season this year they'll be better as for ou well see if ya make it to tha NC next year and UT will be in a bowl game this upcoming season and i bet it'll be a BCS bowl game... All kidding aside, we would all be better off to have a 16-team playoff system. I am not a Boise State fan, but they play good ball and I sure would like to see them in a playoff game with Florida, Alabama, LSU or some other tough and proud team. That would be a lot more fun than the rigged and no-fun system we have in place now. Auburn versus Oregon just felt tainted. I say prove it on the field of honor and then we can all believe.

Hey xnaythehombre, make that 5-2 in BCS games (vacated '04 Orange Bowl), 2 Heisman Trophies (vacated by Mr. Kardashian in '05), and 1/2 a Nat'l Title (split the '03 and vacated the '04).
