  • Just bought this SUV today. The 2 door sport version. Loving it so far.

  • Put it in 4 high, put the brake all the way down, floor it, let go of the brake and hold on. If you could do a vid of that it would make me :D

  • @linkthemain This gen of Explorer XLT run what is called Auto 4x4. When you hold the brakes and bring the rpms up it launches in 4x4 but as soon as your off the line it kicks back into 2x4 so you don't have the parasitic loss of hp turning all four wheels when you don't need to.

  • I have an 02 explorer and if you hold the brake and give it the gas to where its a about to spin and then let off the brake, it takes off alot faster. and it wont take 9 sec. to get to 60 neither. Just gotta know how to drive it.

  • okay i will and yeah its stock but the its a a rocket even when tis stock mine is a v8

  • exactly what i mean people are always sayin to me hey ford sucks i just put her in park rev my engine up to about 1500 and they shut up

  • Is your truck stock? post a video of it

  • 0_o is this for real ?

    great 8sec

    5/5

  • turn your overdrive off for better accel

  • 459K wow and people talks--it about american cars

  • I dont know exactly what you mean, however if you are talking about the mileage on the truck, it actually reads 45,936.2 miles. although we did buy the Explorer brand new and we have not run into problems with it. A side note, my friend owns a 93 Ford Ranger with over 300k miles on the engine and tranny and its still running like new, so it does go to show you that if you treat any car right, it will last you for a long time.
