So, Michael and Walt were introduced in Season 1, and what was their contribution to the story? Absolutely nothing. The writers really fucked up when it came to the series after about midway through Season 2.

I was eagerly anticipating more Desmondcentric episodes. And I was so pissed at the ending. They even promised they wouldn't end it as them being in purgatory or hell. But they did. I guess we got trolled. lol

Couldn't he just have knocked Ana unconscious, freed Ben, they both overpowered Libby (who was appaerently washing?) and have Ben run to the Pala Ferry? Then he could have persuaded Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hurley to follow him after Ben. Or even better, after receiving Ana's gun, he and Ben could fake Ben overpowering him, and then let Ben go, knocking Ana and Libby unconscious
I've said that Michael could've gone into the Armory, given the gun to Michael (faked that Ben overpowered him, they would believe him since Ben overpowered Ana Lucia before) Then Ben could threaten Michael with the gun, telling Libby and Ana Lucia that he would shoot Michael if they called for help, gone to the Swan exit, and ran away in the jungle. Then everyone would believe that Micheael, Libby and Ana Lucia were threatened by Ben, and not beliwve that Michael had
