I used this recipe last year. It was my first try at making this soup. Since my son loves the soup so much I was worried it wouldn't come out as good as others he had tasted. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!. Thank you so much for putting this online. I just knew when I watched the video it was the recipe I wanted to use and it sure proved to be a great choice.

Now my only problem is making enough to satisfy everyone!

Cixelle, that peanut butter taste means that you might have browned your roux a bit much. I added a half stick of celery chopped to this recipe and doubled up on the creole seasoing to suit my own tastes. Gaston's Red Beans are great, BTW.
