If you hang around long enough on the outskirts you may be in trouble but if you walkin thru, you should be fine. Sure, theres a whole load of dirt on the strip as well, but more or less just promoting it. Without a doubt, its an amazing place. Hard to believe that Vegas was built by the mob. Have a good time, maybe you will run into Tupacs ghost. We just done LA, Vegas, Arizona, Miami, Orlando and Lima. Make sure if you in Vegas, organize a day trip to the Grand Canyon.

But the shots were fired on koval and flamingo intersection
There have been some changes to that intersection in the past five years or so.
On the Southeast corner, you can see the newly built Platinum (hotel/condos).
On the Northwest corner (where the cameraman is standing), the Maxim hotel was closed for a couple years and reopened as the Westin.
The other two corners should be the same (an empty lot behind Bally's on the southwest corner and The Meridian/electrical station on the northeast corner).
