I cannot tell you that. The timbre does not fit John Denver's unless it's been altered with today's audio processing.

I don't mind being wrong and I'm sure the many YouTube aficianados might have one or two among them who can identify the singer.

Yes this is John denver, listen to the Christmas in Concert from washington D.C, I was at that concert. I was a very close friend of John's for many years and I heard him sing this song many times.
