I like the album. Like it quite a bit to be honest. Some songs I could definitely do without. The Darkness influence is becoming undeniable. My issue is that the Darkness guy worked with them, and SEVERAL songs sound like Darkness throw aways. They had a genuine sound on their last album. This one sounds like a mash of copy cats depending on the song.

I was introduced through Introducing... and that record to me was magical and I consider one of my most perfect albums. However, each new albums rocks its way into its own place while still being Foxy. It's fucking insane every time and I love it.

From the two songs I've heard from the new album, I just feel that they are VERY radio friendly and "I Like it" is on alt rock radio stations. I mean, congrats to Foxy, I'll be at the CD release show at the Madison and they are one of my favorite bands. I just don't want them to end up like Incubus or MCR or Green Day. Just end up being corporate rock whores.

I've been going to their shows since '06. I loved Flamingo Trigger. Loved Introducing. I loved the self titled album. I'm sure The Church of Rock and Roll won't disappoint either. The differences between Flamingo Trigger and the new album are night and day, I give you that. But that's what happens, bands grow and take on different influences and their styles change. It's the evolution of music.
