ok whether ANYONE thinks he is a good drummer or not, doesnt mean he doesn't know what he is talking about. He (in my opinion) is a very good drummer who knew nothing about music and in only 8 years, 8 YEARS managed to play almost 40 covers of different songs with almost perfection and made alot of them better than the orignal. to me, do that all off of 2 ears and no knowledge, is something spectacular

@yamahasca Cobus is not a professional drummer, just to let you know. He learnt drums all by himself without any mentoring or whatsoever. I am confident he is better than you. This product is meant to allow people without music theory background to start learning drums easily.

@96515325 That is a terrible idea. He's gonna breed more drummers who can't count or subdivide to save their lives. Not to mention, read a chart. And yes, he is a professional drummer if he's got a published DVD.

@yamahasca Maybe I'm bias. But learning by ear is an important skill for a musician. Personally, I feel that learning to count or subdivide from teaching is too mechanical. It inhibits creativity as a drummer.
