in 31 states it's illegal to physically discipline or touch a student. please support HR 3070 a bill in congress to do a federal ban on physical punishment in schools. call your US represenative or Senator get them to vote yes on a ban. United states only country to still allow this.
It's just pretend spanking. The kid isn't hurt. But what is the idea behind it? What does the teacher imagine she's doing and what ideas is it giving the kids who are watching? That being spanked is something pleasurable, a birthday gift? In other words, the aim seems to be to turn them all into masochists. Or does someone have a different interpretation?
