  • Can the USB 2.0 front slots be removed and switched with USB 3.0 slots down the road?

  • Quick question how do i install a 2nd led fan in the front?? (anything but you can't for an answer)

  • i have no idea to get this or the cm690 :(

  • @SianZTheLoner 500r corsair

  • @SianZTheLoner What did you decide on, and are you happy with it?

  • @uncfan32134 i have decide the cm690 II advanced and i am happy with it. can install lots of fans and good cable management features :D

  • this case rocks men

  • hey would the noctua D14 or C14 CPU coolers fit in this case?

  • To be honest I don't like toolless. I like taking the time to unscrew screws and things like that.

  • "Draygon lord"??

  • This case really amazing, one of the reason I'm still not sure if i want to buy it or not is because it has a basic design, simple black case without any LED fans...

I don't know which one to buy, this one or the CM stormscout.

  • @honorship check out the LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62, it's basically the same thing except the inside is black and the fans are lit by blue LED's.

  • @Ibanezx123

The reviews of the K62 I've seen don't seem to show any filters... does Lancool usually give filters or were the ones here added afterwards?

  • @PTNLemay Not sure but if you notice, the top fans don't in this video(Keep in mind they are not intake fans). One thing for sure is that the area for a fan near the power supply does come with a filter. I would assume there's one on the front fan as well; they do show that in this video but on the newegg review they do not specify. Assume yes on the front intake fan though.

  • @Ibanezx123

The top lacking a filter isn't that bad. The only reason a top exhaust like that would need a filter is for when the computer is off, since dust will settle by falling straight down (and right through the grills along the top). That's actually one of the reasons I settled for this case (well, either this or the K62). The top exhaust don't have filters, but they have those angled fins. The dust can't fall straight down into the chassis thanks to them.

  • @Ibanezx123

And yeah, when the computer is on the top fans blow preventing dust from settling through that way.

  • @PTNLemay yeah, i've never seen an exhaust fan with a filter haha.

  • DO you need the rubber grommets to fit the fans because those gromets are quite expensive for a bit of rubber!

  • Thank you for this review!!! Can you tell me how thick are the metal panels? 0.5mm? 0.8mm? are they hardy and heavy as I hope? Or are they thin and light as the (bad) Cooler Master Elite series? Thanks!!

  • very nice review! i've a question it's true that the k62r1 the only diference is that it's paint in the interior and the fan regulator?

  • @aletere2005 the "r" stands for red and that is the only difference.

  • now why can't every case review on youtube have as much detail as this!?!??!

  • Hi, really nice review and good video qualitiy!

I have a question for you. Is it possible to remove the hard drive cage at the bottom?

And also, do you feel that this fans are loud?Thank you

  • Would there be any issues with replacing the fans with 38mm rather than 25mm fans? Will I have to cut holes in the top cover?

  • I have the K62 which is a bit more expensive than the K60. It has a black finish inside the case and blue LED's on the front and top fans. Awesome case.

  • is the 4890 a good video card?

  • @XxBK201xX Go for a DX11 card, such as the 5770 or 5850.

  • @KokoaShuzen all done :D

  • @KokoaShuzen You think if I order a LIAN LI W-LM2AB-5 Transparent Side Panel Left transparent side Panel for Lian Li PC-B25F / PC-60FN / PC-7FN. 2 140mm. You think that will work on my K62 Dragonlord?

  • Don't like it. Nothing special about it and for the price there are alot better choices out there.

  • Should i get this k60 case or a antec p183?

  • fantastic review and case, i was wondering which one to buy, this or TT element T but there is no doubt that this is much, much, better, only problem is that in Serbian stores does not have K 60, so i must buy k 58 and add two 140mm fans on top

  • MonsterMawd

is there a way to attach led lights to the front and top of the casing?

ps love the website... would buy some stuff but i am from uk and post would be tooo much:(

  • You don't even need a full tower with the dragonlord mid tower series, you can build a top of the line dual graphics card setup in this thing. Lian LI has very similar all aluminum of these cases if steel isn't your thing but it costs a little more.

  • no led lights on this casing?? aww... is there a way to attach led lights to the front and top of the casing?

  • will a 5870 or a 5970 fit in this case?

  • Lancool Dragonlord PC-K2 or NZXT Tempest Evo??

  • lancool all the way

  • @CorneliusGrim im trying to figure that out too!

  • @addzkebabs

    tis a hard choice :P

  • The Tempest Evo is quite similar to the LanCool PC-K62 when it comes to features, all black interior and cable management/tool-less design, yet you get much better looks (imo) with the Tempest Evo, you get better cooling as there are two additional fans coming with the Tempest (4 with PC-K62 vs 6 with Tempest) and removable hard-drive cages as well. Pretty much the same price.

  • Agreed. The new one is a huge improvement over the Tempest. And it has a surprising amount of room. I fit a Prolimatech Mega Shadow in mine with 2 or 3cm to spare.

  • @ripzombie yeah i was planning on getting the tempest evo too but then I discovered that it was a little too big.

  • I have th Tempest and I would definitely recommend the Evo. Keep in mind it doesn't have a removable motherboard tray. Airflow is great and the LEDs look awesome.

    I wish I got the Evo :\

  • hey guys i have one question. how the hell can i clean up the side panel of the k-62?? if i use a tissue or a lobe or something like i always have residues or crumb on the side panel. i think it's because the side panel is tough? so what the hell can i use to clean it up that it look's like new? thanks for answers...

  • i totally agree on the PCI slots I have a thermaltake Armor+ and I gave up on the "toolless" clips because they turned out to be "useless". I just have to do it the hard way and screw the cards in , which is a pain considering that my watercooling reservoir is mounted over it and I have to unscrew that to get to the screws.

  • hey guys thanks for reviewing the k60 case. cause of your vid i decided to buy the k62 (with side-window) and i'm so happy with it. it's the best case i ever had and its soooo big... you have a lot of space for all components :) hey, what can you tell me about lightening out the inside better? where is the best place to place some blue lamps? so go on with your wonderfull reviews and vids :)

  • has he slept this century:S?

  • Great reviews guys .. i'm going to get one :)

  • Is there a hole in the motherboard tray for hiding the 8pin CPU connector behind it?

  • the k58 also looks like an amazing midtower and its price is great only 79.00 from the egg

  • Anyone that owns this case I recommend flipping the two top fans to pull air "IN". Case manfactures often seem to get airflow wrong. On a I7@4gig the load under Prime Torture temp fell 5C which is very tangible with the same room temp.

  • But hot air rises, right? So, aren't the fans at the top supposed to pull all those hot air at the top of the case, out?

  • since there are are two fans you can just have one pull air in and the other one out

  • Ok my case. i just got a 5850 and the latch wont even close because of the clip hangs over my card and it hits the duct for the heatsink on the 5850... if that makes sence. so i might get a k62 =o

  • i have the Lian Li Lancool DragonLord pc k62 and its amazing...

  • main differences between the K60 and the K58? Only the lack of the 2x140 upper fans on the K68? Or there's more?

  • That's the only thing :) But I can't find any K60 manufacturer in EU... Else I would buy one.

  • Great review - now the K62 is out with the black interior that solves the bad point!

  • and a sexy window ;P lolz its so worth 120 bucks lolz

  • wow nice case. like the fans up the top gonna have a look at some more lancool case's didnt even know bout them really :)

  • how much would one of thos cost?

  • As mentioned the K-62 comes in glossy black interior and has LED fans on the front and top.

Really amazing case. Too bad it has such a lame name :P

  • errrmmm, and why does the name matter anyhow?

  • this case is amazing. I have the similar version, the Lian Li Lancool PC-K62. this is the all black, inside and out version with the window, and all the fans are blue LEDs. the tool less design is just brilliant.

  • Lancool Dragonlord PC-K62 is Black inside :) its the best case ive seen :)

  • Very nice case!

thanks for the review, guys :)

  • Im going to buy one of these for my next system. It's awesome and affordable.

  • AGREEED :D ,I just dicthed my antec 1200 for this case ^ ^

  • dont be offended but u sure are dumb 1200 is bigger so better air circulation why pick this and sell your 1200? if u want design ok :-<

  • Nice case and inovative mounting. I agree it needs black paint. Thanks for your work guys.

  • wow what an awesome case! the features are the best i've ever seen. there is a nicer case with window and blue lightning. so that is much nicer than this in my oppinion. but anyway.... lancool's cases are one of the best i've ever seen in my life!

  • I bought 2 of the K60 Mid-tower Cases , my uncle helped me painted it black and red.

  • the top 3 1/2 would be great to be left open for more air flow

  • I'm torn between this case and the Cooler Master HAF 922. I kinda like the HAF b/c it lets you shut off the LED lights.

  • i found a scuff NO-LEDS cat have a good gaming computer without standerd blue-red lighting on the case

  • that is one great looking case bill, the cooling system has room for improvement, tow 140's and a 120 for exhaust but only one 140 for intake (not counting psu intake because that's pretty much confined to the psu it's self) seems rather unbalanced, it's negative pressure so you'll still get good cooling, but a second 140 intake in front and an optional 120 over the graphics card would have made the cooling system superb.

  • guys, this case or antec 1200?

  • This Case, hands down. Trust me, I've done my research. Price-wise, this is the best you can get.

  • That is one totally wicked case, unfortunately its a bit too "function over form" for my tastes. Definitely worth the money! Very just and non bias review.

  • Wonder if the 56 and 60 that were announced at some point of time will still be launched someday? Or has the Dragonlord K series been cut to 58 and 62?

  • The 60 is out in australia

    umart com au sell it

  • For some retarded reason, the case has been outed as PC-K58 (86 $ at newegg) and a windowed version, PC-K62 (120 at newegg). Just for anyone still waiting for the case, might be a bit hard to find by the PC-K60 or Dragonlord search terms. PC-K60 doesn't seem to be found at any retail site, so I guess they just split the 60 to 58 and 62. Now I'm just left to drool for the time when either starts selling down here in Finland.

  • to MonsterMawd

are all the fans removable, for installing custom fans?

  • Yes.

  • @MonsterMawd NIce review, thanks. Is the lower HDD cadge removable?

  • cant wait too see u modd this case....

planning to get this case to...

    pc-k62..

  • Sub $100? That is an insane value if true.

  • aboslutly fantastic well done lian li.

  • damn if i was in the market for a mid-tower case this would be it!!

  • Very nice case. Fan for GPU (on the HDD cage or on the side window) and it'd be nearly perfect case.

  • this case seems brilliant, my only gripe with this case is how would you mount a radiator in the front so it gets cool air?

P.S. they have an all black interior version of this case so you must have no gripes.

  • nice case. you should mod it

  • Seams a great case to me:D

  • I hate the cable inside cases arrraggghh!!!!!

  • Buy wireless :P

  • LOL

  • It may look the similar, the the mechanics of it are much different, other than the mesh looking similar, I see no other resemblances between this case and the Antec Twelve Hundred.

The tooless design on this case is truly legendary.

  • agree, and the PC-K60 is very different from the 1200

  • dose anyone know when this casr goes on sale

  • no ETA yet

  • You know, you look an awful lot like jon stewart from the daily show there at the end.

  • I like Jon :)

  • it seems to me that the two top fans under the top bezel could be somehow replaced by a water cooling radiator. Although there are two tube holes for outside water cooling systems on the back, i prefer having everything inside.

  • I have a GTX280 here and will see how it fits

  • i like the haf 932. until i saw this i was for sure going to go with the haf 932 for my next build. but this, is making me think twice. I may have to wait and see if they make a full tower version for sure.

  • how much would this be retailing for? any ideas, rough estimates, ball parks?

  • under $100

  • now they need to make a Big Daddy Full Tower Version that adds a large 200+ Front, Side, and Top Fans...if they can build that and keep it under the $140 range they can take my money away from Cooler Master and there HAF 932.

  • I was expecting to hear ~$250... but sub $100? I don't think there's a case on the market that can compete at that price.

Now here's hoping LL will make a full tower version that's all aluminum. =D

  • Seems like a decent case for the projected price range they spoke. I just wonder if those grommets on the fans transfer to other fans pretty easily. I assume the front audio would be HD rather than AC97 or maybe both?

  • according to there website it should have both

  • Looked and sounded to flimzy for my liking but i would use it as a budget case i love it

  • I was thinking "Wow, now if it's around $200, that would be about right", and then I hear sub-$100!

  • god damn it, just as i buy a new case lol

  • excellent case for sub 100 price point

  • any idea as to when this will be on the market?

  • Great review Bill.

  • looks like a really nice case once it goes retail would need to find a uk etailer that will stock it as i could make a pretty sweet rig from this :D

first thing would be a window mod also a powder coat to black i would go nvidia green on the window though with green & white cathodes just to be different :D

  • Not that it isn't fun to do your own window, but I believe there are a couple variants of the Dragonlord coming, one having a window.

  • can I just get the card clip system

  • We were commenting that the clip module looks like something that could possibly be sold separately. But, as far as I know there are no plans for that.

  • nice features on this case. And the price is correct.

  • love ur review vids keep the good work up on the vids, the case is awesome and u have the best vid intro over all the pc's channels on utube

  • woah this case is awesome, but i would've like it to have the mobo tray that can slide out, then itd be perfect.

  • well now i think i know what case im getting next... i really am liking everything about this case

  • I just have to say it again that looks amazing. Personally I almost like that grayed out look on the inside. It's a little old fashion almost...I guess I just don't mind it and like that my case is basically that same color on the inside.

  • that looks pretty cool...if i was in the market for a better priced case i would definitely be looking at this. But it will be a while before someone separates me and my good ole thermaltake armor.

  • very awesome. I'm actually in the market for a mATX case - any recommendations ? Thx Bill

  • Great video guys! Nice case.

  • I would say this case is pretty perfect

  • what i would like on this(might mod):

    -black interior(silver looks rubbish)

    -side panel window

  • "its a pretty long one, its not the longest out there, but there plenty of room for this and when your looking at you can see there is even more room for longer ones" lol i was bored...

  • Mod one of these! I see some potential in it.

  • This case looks amazing. I think I want to do a build with this one.

  • Hey guys, just wanted to say i love MM! I also love this case and hope to be using it soon. Bill, just so you know, LanCool does make a version with a black interior, as well as a side anel window. The model # is PC-K62. Keep up the great work guys!

  • only thing it needs is a side window

  • yea that would make it one of a kind!

  • Thank you for the brilliant video :)

Just to let everyone know this case is basically the lancool version of the lian li PC-P50 which is aluminum.

Bill im going to be getting a PC-P50 soon and i want to mount a 240.120 radiator (probably a feser exchanger 240 65mm thick) on the top along with 2x120mm fans.

I think that is going to be a tight fit when you think about clearance for the RAM. Can you please tell me your thoughts on my plan. Thank you my mentor.

  • I wish it was full tower.

    :(

  • it looks like a 900

  • these lot need to bring out videos frequently,

  • I wonder if it comes in differant colors?

  • the 31/2 bay is for a bay cooling fan system

  • i'm buying one , just got to have it

  • Wow, great case features, and not a bad exterior either.

  • Hey Bill, you can review my sample anytime bro! lol, jk. Nice review, one question though, my Mobo died yesterday and I had a moment of silence for it, is that weird?

  • depends on the board

  • Just send it over, sorry to hear about your MB

  • Höly Fùckché! An actually working, fast, secure and convenient toolless design!!?!?!? Ohmigosh. I would never have thought you'd get one without making your own case. And for sub-100$ price range? NICE JOB Lian Li. Nice job. That's definitely going to be my next case when it comes to retail around here. Goodbye Antec 300. You served me well but you're gonna get your value buttraped with no Lube.

  • if you would buy the PC-K60W you should have a window - look on the Lancool hompage. may i get the K58 in the future.

personaly love the slot holders :D

hope we see a modded version in the future ;)

  • :D wonderfull case would love to see it with a window and painted black inside ^^

  • I will have to get one imported to Scotland to get it

  • ebay.

  • This is going to be sub $100?! Well hello there, my future case!

  • Sweet case for the price. I believe most manufacturers will put up a higher standard from now on.

  • anyone see a bit of lian li pc60-p80 in this case?

  • is that the one thats red with the amd dragon on the side?

  • Well yes but that is the amd red edition.

  • Great review guys... seeing all the features and less than $100 is def a good deal for those who don't want to spend a lot time modding extra vents and such.

  • not a bad case!! love the tootles pic locking unit! nice case to mod 5 stars for video :)

  • Lian Li makes some great looking cases, I like how there's not much of the ugly and cheap looking plastic.

  • it looks like a antec 1200

  • Its a bit ugly though, but you can just paint it and that will be alright. Otherwise is it a awesome case! how much do you think this will cost?

  • under $100, as we stated :)

  • i like the PCI latches

  • Looks very practical, its just ugly.

  • mod it

  • dude thats an awesome case will pick me up one thanks guys

  • First:P

  • Happy you...
