Roger Moore as 007, would walk up to you and say , "Excuse me". Then zap you with a Tazer and depart smoothly. Sean Connery as 007, would walk up to you. Then zap you with a Tazer. So while your lying on the ground twitching, he would walk by you and say , "Shocking".
Sean Connery and Roger Moore were so different but I do not know which one was better as a James Bond. Each one has a way to be just perfect James Bond.
My god !!!! This interviewer is a perfect argument in favor of abortion. I feel like apologizing to Sir Rog for having to sit through this shiite for our entertainment.
Twat of an interviewer alright, moore was a great bond in his time but thank god timothy dalton stepped in when he did and gave the real ian flemings bond or we would have adam sandler as bond by now, dalton brought out the real bond its a shame he turned down goldeneye i would have loved have seen him in it
i feel sorry for Mr Moore for having to answer those rather ridiculous questions.
i found Craig's Bond to be a character with great depth and isn't simply a suave ladies man with cool gadgets and catchy catch phrases not that i didn't like them because i'm a fan of James Bond but its great that they took a fresh take on the character.
I don't know what this guy was thinking conducting this interview but it was embarrassing. Like so many stated here Roger Moore being a genuine class act laughed this off staying composed the whole time. I was cringing the whole time.
I am sorry to say this, but my 10 year old could have nailed this interview. What a ghastly waste of time and what class and patience from Sir Roger to handle it like that.
Even though Sean Connery started it all and Roger Moore wasn't what Ian Fleming visioned as Bond, I do think he fit the niche of the role perfectly. As the first Bond for a more modern era (and Brosnan picks it up where it left off adding to it with suave), where before 1970s is too old fashioned back in the day for many in the younger generations. His movies had a perfect balance of wittiness, humor, good music, memorable characters, outrageous adventures, but at times he can be ruthless too.
um...I understand that my good looks, my exquisite features were bequeathed, no, loaned unter me by our lord god. That's the only way I can understand how fucking beautiful and talented I am...

i am glad Sir Roger Moore would save live & let die from bond movies, its my favourite bond movie ever :D There should be more gentlemans as Sir Roger Moore
DANIEL CRAIG SUCKS I MEAN HIS MOVIES IS NOT REAL JAMES BOND. To be real it's gonna be sean konrey or roger moore and old and he are don't like them 2 it's like another movie than james bond! thumbs up if you AGREE!
@Tutorialdude7 it's not another action movie, Ian Fleming's James Bond was a ruthless assassin, that's what we have now.... i don't know about you, and i respect Roger Moore, but I am not willing to go back to the Bond that dresses up like a clown to entertain children, Bond movies don't rip action flicks, action flicks rip bond movies
@bleewicket I agree. The interviewers was shit at his job and seemed to be so tense. God bless Roger Moore but he should've used his lazer watch from his films just to cut the interviewer's tongue out!
Right, who the fuck thought up the question list? "If there was a fire in the blu-ray factory ...and it exploded or something"Really! That's a legit question??
I'm glad to read we're all agreed on that! That interviewer is a twat , what appalling waste of an opportunity to speak to SIR Roger, jesus , dont they get it , their not auditioning to be the host of N.M.T.Buzzcocks & that some great stars merit & warrant due Respect, not trying to out ironise the most entertaining Bond, Saint & Persuader + He's 81 & does extemely well in humoring the little W@**er for so long!
@SimonYoungJames Well said SimonYoungJames, thanks for saying what so many of us would long to put into words and expressing your self on behalf of all Sir Moore fans.
Great to see Sir Roger - what a pity about the interviewer ! If you were able to have your own cult TV channel what 15 series would you select? Mine would be The Avengers Star Trek (Kirk of course) The Prisoner The Invaders The Man from Uncle Space 1999 Randall & Hopkirk (original) The Saint Blakes 7 The Persuaders UFO (which deserves a remake with new effects please and more alien action) The Outer Limits Sapphire & Steel Red Dwarf And just to be silly – the A Team Yours ?
fair enough about the interviewers choice of questions - although the daniel craig question was interesting cos we get to see roger moore's view on him. Awesome Bond and have seen him in real life but unfortuantely haven't met him :(
The Interviewer missed the fact he was in "The Spy Who Loved Me" whic is My fave of his movies and starred the beautiful Barbara Bach My fave Bind Girl.
sir roger moore easily the best bond and the only saint, all round fantastic guy..just read his auto biog, what a fabulous and exciting life...live forever sir roger and never die....your country needs you!!!
Roger Moore was a Bond who used his wits than hes Muscle, he showed charisma to his enemies no matter what situation, interviewer doesnt know alot about Bond it looks like.
No offence to Moore but what the fuck does he mean by Daniel Craig was a killer and he was a lover.... the man's a bit of a fool, Bond is only known for his Double O Licence, and for being tough, not for his soppy love in women. He would just use them at their disposal. What a bender.
@amarsbarr He's emphasizing the differences. Craig is playing Bond more as a hard-edged killer. Moore played him more as a "lover." Everyone including Moore, knows Moore's Bond was ALSO a killer, but was more of a ladies' man/user of women than known for soppy love. EVERYONE, including Moore, also knows that Craig (and Lazenby) got saddled with "soppy love" stories; not Moore. Still, Moore does seem more comfy in a hottub with a chick and champagne than in the middle of a fistfight...
@redbulldog Yeah, Moore had a few cold-blooded kills during his time as Bond, but he's always remembered as the smirking, ladies man, tongue in cheek 007. But in The Spy Who Loved me when he pumps Stromberg full of lead, or in For Your Eyes Only when he kicks Loque's car off the cliff, he was all business.
Have you even watched the Bond movies? Bond is known just for being "tough"?
Moore's Bond WAS more of a lover than a killer - he never came across as particularly aggressive or ruthless. That's what made him such a great character. People admired Bond for his suavity and cool charm - not for the fact that he could shoot and kill bad guys.
I'm going to stick up for this interviewer. Whilst he wasn't particulalry strong I don't think he was a "nasty little twit". Also, imagine how difficult it must be for a fairly young, comparitively inexperienced interviewer to come face-to-face with Sir Rog. Like me, he probably grew up watching him as Bond on video or dvd. I certainly know that if I was him, Id be nervous and would at least TRY to ask him things he hadn't answered a squillion times b4. This is from a hopeful future journalist
@mrbain123 The end result was still a poor interview where the INTERVIEWER comes off as either idiotic, or trying to feature HIMSELF as the funny man.
Not a recipe for a great interview...people are interested in Roger Moore and James Bond, not in mocking them.
And if he (the interviewer) was serious about how he felt when he looks into Craig's eyes and really wants to know how Roger feels when doing the same...he's just bizarre.
I love Roger Moore, both in interviews and as Bond, but I never understood why they changed from Connery to Moore, people seems to think that Connery was too old to play Bond, but Roger Moore is older yet looks much younger in Live and Let Die than Connery in Diamonds are Forever.. so why change, other than the fact that Connery was probably asking too much money to do another one..
@DemiathDoomhammer Roger was first choice to play bond but tunred the role down at the time so they got Sean connery then when Sean's time was up Roger decided he wanted the part of Bond
I would never think that he would choose live and let die. The interviewer was not that mean hearted, he just looked under prepared and maybe talentless.
The interviewer's just one of those assholes who seems to think that the more confrontational you appear, and the more inappropriate your questions are, the more "hard-hitting'' you'll seem.
He's putting on an act, and it just makes him look like a cunt.
lol that interviewer looks nervous. maybe its just me but even if i was the most experienced of interviewers, i think i would get slighlty nervous when interviewing a big actor.
Speaking as afan of the moore wooden eyebrows era..i am happier to know the man i adored as 007 was a truly humble decent saltof the earth guy. Bless you Sir Roger. If only this interviewer had some proper knowledge and respect.
the 2 new JB films suck, it's not d craig, he's a good refreshing choice, it's just the stories and how it's all put together, bring back the fun in 007 movies!
I hope the interviewer can watch the comments so that he can realise how miserable he is. "How better do you look on Hi-Def?" Give me a break... I love Roger Moore's wits though.
Terrible interviewer, but a good interview, because of Roger's responses; 'Just concentrate, and think of England' made me laugh out loud. Awesome guy, and a great James Bond
Possibly the most horrid interview Sir Jolly Roger ever had to do! What a nasty little twit. I wish Roger was ruthless and would bash this Mary over the head with his Coke bottle glasses.

the 2 new JB films suck, it's not d craig, he's a good refreshing choice, it's just the stories and how it's all put together, bring back the fun in 007 movies!

Poor Roger. That interviewer was awful. Yet, Roger is ever the gentleman...

The interviewer was an idiot but Sir Roger was charming as usual.

Live and Let Die is his best. Non stop action and that blaxploitation/pseudo-voodoo theme was great.

Possibly the most horrid interview Sir Jolly Roger ever had to do! What a nasty little twit. I wish Roger was ruthless and would bash this Mary over the head with his Coke bottle glasses.
