  • You guys have to be careful with those rocks near by there. But nevertheless, an awesome site.

  • looks pretty fun, looks like you need a shark cage though

  • flat and cold, stuff that i will stick to waves in Australia warm and wet like aussie girls.

  • is it consistent?

  • That is the craziest wave I have ever surfed in california!!!! Bad rip tides, hidden dangers, the golden gate dwarfing over head, and alcatraz off in the distance! Not to mention the freighters coming in off the ocean, and the really cold water! Best time of my life!

  • @hcsurfer26

dude i felt the sAME WAY THE RIPS ARE SICK UR ALWAYS BATTLING TO GET POSITION..... I WASNT THERE AT A NEGETIVE LOW TIDE THO- IT LOOKS MORE TAME IN THE LOW TIDE POSTION. IT FELT PRETTY SHARKY AS I WAS THE ONLY 1 OUT AT SUNSET-

  • @lightninglopez The negative low tide makes it feel a little safer... but the high tide, (From what I have seen,) allows for the bigger waves, and it breaks alot further out! Longer ride, and more time to show off for the tourists on the shoreline! Ha ha! Your pretty hardcore, for going it alone, at sunset! If you got swept out to sea, or around alcatraz, they wouldn't find you for quite some time! I almost went out by myself the first time, but someone followed me in!

  • @hcsurfer26

    right on!!!

  • is it always this big?

  • I saw this place go off in Feb 1991. Nice waves.

  • why have I never heard of this break?

AND Australia has the MOST dangerous waves, just thier are only a hand full of people that have ever surfed them thats why they death rates ain't as high as pipe dumb ass !!!

  • @ 0o7125: Stop being such a faggot, kook.

  • @0o7125 Actually, Hawaii has the most dangerous waves.

  • HEY daF*C*UGUY fu** u I LIVE IN AUSTRALIA we have the top most dangerous beach breaks in the WORLD and just about eveyday some where in Australia would look like pipe . AND THE BEST SURFERS IN THE WORLD COME FROM AUSTRALIA

  • there's tons of heavy breaks all over the world, not just australia. there's great surfers all over the world, not just australia. And pipeline is the deadliest wave in the world, not australia. so what were you trying to prove?

  • @0o7125 the is no mavrick waves in australia

  • first time id seen that next trip to the states

i gona ave a look.ob beach break were great good surfers too.

  • Perfect day to look like a seal?

  • how sketchys the rock jump

  • it must be sweet to surf under the bridge! I really want to do that now!

Though my local break has bettter waves but it is a lot colder!:(

    Ireland is Best:D

  • ya surf a real brake, you guys can barely snap. Thats scary because all the rcoks and the waters the ball killing cold and theres 8 great white family that lives in the bay! pussy brake! scary conditions :)

  • those waves are so cute haha

try surfing a real break you donkeys

  • wtf?

  • Fort point sucks, you only surf it when you have to. How about I drag your donkey ass a little north to dead mans? You probably couldnt get down the trail.

  • LOL

pipeline is my backyard, teahupoo i've surfed a few times..and i've ventured all over hawaii and australian surf breaks..LOL..come on your breaks are nothing compared to what i've already surfed.

  • ooh yea dude i agree, i'll go out in ankle high too, ill surf anything surfable, and anything ridable.

  • that would be a fun place to surf. how often does it break?

  • My brother surfed out there and he got 2 rubbers tangled on his legrope lol

  • i agree with bungalonick... these surfers are BOORRRINNGG

  • true that ilive in the shark capital of the world new smyrna bch fl and i never get scared because i love to get in the water and surf way to much

  • hows the current there . i went there one time and its like a huge raging river in the bay.

  • i heard that it exetremely sharky there

  • with 15 of your closest buddies out there it will make them go away

  • yer but the wave is sick so who gives a fuck haha

  • I grew up there and learned to surf in SF and Santa Cruz. Ft Point is a good wave on the right conditions, but its really damn cold. You have fun for about a half hour, then yer ears fall off. LOL

  • you've never been to Ireland. Cold water is not a problem. Learned to surf in Lahinch, between october and March

  • looks sick nice, clean, peeling wave...why was no one in the barrel or at lerast tryin?

  • they're all closeouts.... boring. the only ones that barrel are the occasional sets.

  • who gives a fuck. if you are a true surfer, you would be greatful for what waves you have. Its obvious that these guys are passionate and greatful. they are out there surfing those close outs. I surf lake michigan (Ive surfed 8-12 foot close outs), and it DOES NOT barrel, but yet i have a blast out there. Being a good surfer isnt just surfing good waves, its how you can adapt and have fun and be positive in any wave conditions, weather its clean, or slop.

  • holy shit, it's not like the bridge is the only break you guys have. don't you ever take surf trips? it's part of surfing ya'know.

  • i'm not in the video, its not me. obviously the bridge isnt the only place to surf. odviously its in Cali and there are plenty of places to surf. Id surf there, only because its something different, and something you dont see every day. the senery is cool too, and i think it would be cool to say you have surfed next to the Golden Gate Bridge. I doubt many can say that. i think it would be fun.

  • i don't care if you're in the video. and secondly, respect my opinion. i respect yours. you don't have to light me up like that, jesus christ.

  • yea no i dont want you to take my comment towards you in the wrong way. i respect it but, also respectfully oppose your comment. And thats why i commented on it. I have nothing against you whatsoever. And its not just you, its people in general that hate on waves like these. I'd kill to ride those waves. I surf slop, all the time on Lake Michigan. I dont get barrels, or clean waves. I take what I can get, which is usually sloppy closeouts. I just wish people could have a more open mind.

  • alright, i didn't know where you were coming from. but yeah, i don't waste waves, even ankle high waves are just as fun to me.

  • and be grateful for what they have. like i said bro, im not pissed at u, or anything. its just people in general that hate on waves like these. Cuz i dont have the luxury of surfing good waves. this particular video shows probably a good day on Lake MI. Many east coast and west coast surfers dont go out in this shit..but for me and many other surfers that surf the lake...this particular condition is quite good and people would travel miles and miles across the state to surf waves like these.

  • I´ve surfed some spots in the european mediteranean sea and it´s really cool to get on swells that rarely happens. The bridge view and the coldness makes this really special. Nice vid. Nice vibe..

  • i had no idea people surf there...

  • too rocky, good the surf isn't powerful.

  • I can get pretty big here

  • somedays the current will suck you straigt out to the farralone islands. paddle strong

  • when i was there a couple of years ago the current looked really strong...scary along with a the dangers of sharks swimming around.

  • looks bloody cold!

  • exelent location.,,,,makes it special....

    Montauk rocks!!

  • those waters r shark infested. Good luck to all surfers

  • are they really?? :D *gets diving gear ready*

  • WOW! Didn't know the waves got that big right under the bridge!

    LOVED THIS!

  • i didnt even no it broke in the bay...lol

  • i agree but its not dangerous... i do respect those who go out on days like those...water must be cold But they do have a wet suit and it does HELP ALOT.. i no

  • Hmm shark biscuits

  • I just saw these guys the other day. They're amazing surfers but thats got to be dangerous as hell with those rocks there. And not to mention freezing. Cool video though.
