LOUD enough to hear well even in parties, putting subwoofer on concrete/tile floor and corner of hard walls will reveal IMPRESSIVE bass, and the price will keep your wallet fat and good for all your parties, lan or striper. :D

@kyll3r14 Well, I've never used the X530 so I don't know how great it is. All I can tell you is that the X540 kicks ass. I've been using them for two years now with zero problems.

There is one other good substitution for this, an ASDA 5.1 surround system, it has 50 watts total rms (1 x 25 watt & 5 x 5 watt RMS). I think it hooks up to ur pc. My nan has one, lol, groovin' granny.

The speakers come with the cable that you need to connect the PS3 to it. Just plug the PS3's red/white audio wire to the Y-adapter that comes with the X-540 and connect it to the subwoofer. It's pretty easy =) If you get these speakers and your still having problems just PM me.

They're super easy to set up. If you only have a single headphone input, they'll still work, just not as well. Plug the green cable into your Mac, and make sure that "matrix" is also turned on. The matrix button is located on your volume controller.

My Mac Pro doesn't have all the connections, so I have to use only the green cable and turn on "matrix" mode which gives a sort of virtual surround sound. It works surprisingly well.
