@Planetimage2 Excuse me ? Komova is fantastic gymnast, she has the difficulty, the execution and the artistry. She is the perfect package. Her beam is really good when she hits, it's clean, it's well executed and it's graceful. What happened during AA, TF and EF is not what she is capable of.

And if both it, Vika will come first.

@boytoyville she had a patterson in 2008 but stopped performing it and hasn't done anything but the double back since... Rumor has it she struggled with it b/c of a growth spurt. I'd love to see her do something else, too, and it will be interesting to see whether the coaches will try to bring the patterson back or go for another dismount entierly. Right now I'm afraid they will stick to the double back since she's lately been struggling with beam. A pity, she could do so well!
I am not sure about the video thogh... I was uploaded in late 2010 but no one seems to know when it was taken (but it looks like Dynamo, so I'll try to find some info). To me it looks older than a year and they took out her BHS-LOSO-Arabian after 2008... It's not an evidence or something but could be an indication.

The LOSO is anyway only a C and therefore is not relevant for the part of her D-score where they sum up the 8 most difficult skills (and in which skills can not be repeated) She does the whole series for the 0.1 she gets in connection bonus but she'd get the same if she did only one LOSO so I guess it's just done for the beauty of it...
But I hope she keeps the second one b/c she does it so well!

@berlintreaty I was talking about competition in general! This is her first big competition as a senior and she is doing great! And i do think TQ are equally important, because you can`t get to the finals without performing great before that! Just ask He Kexin and Beth Tweddle who are not in UB finals!!!!!!
