  • You guys wanna know my least fav.....*fade to black*

  • Hey this is one of my favorite endings from the show as well, along with Tony taunting Janice about Harpo at dinner w/ Bobby & the kids and leaving.

  • @RapidAscension1989 Yes. That's an ending I will always remember as well. Epic music by The Kinks to go with it.

  • The new jersey mob outfit had it coming though, new york was right to act the way they did

  • @MajorGingex You're probably right. If Phil were the protagonist, we would have probably hated Tony. Also I saw an interview with the castmembers once, and they were asked which side they would chose (Jersey or NY). Almost all of them chose NY.

  • The beginning of the end

  • M.A.S.T.E.R.P.I.E.CE.

  • When the drum beat kicks in and Chris and Tony embrace each other, it is almost Shakespearen/Richard III - esque. Considering what is to follow. Genius film-making.

  • Where on eart do they find these songs. Good research team.

  • A lot of people like the show because of the violence. I truely believe the conversations is were where the REAL action took place.

  • @brightlights456X i think the shows a comedy

  • @tenirpaslager

    That as well

    :D

  • @tenirpaslager certainly got a lot of dark humor ;)

  • @Bobbyhamster yep, my fav is when paulie's scared of the 3 o clock, great episode with lots of comedy :)

  • @tenirpaslager yep, and what angle was tony shot from in the final episode.......... 3 O'clock....

  • @brightlights456X

Believe me we all watch for the sake of real conversion with real people in real life

  • @dandini90

    Thats good to hear.

  • @brightlights456X explain what kind of brainless piece of shit can watch this slice of art that the sopranos is just because of the violent scenes

  • @joanal12

You'd be surprised how many people miss the details of this show and only notice the bloody parts.

  • @brightlights456X conversation is good but the therapist sessions were rubbis tony bitching all the time it was useless

  • @Thegoldstarman

It gave us a look into his mind.

  • @brightlights456X disagree

  • @Thegoldstarman

Are you going to say why you disagree?

  • @brightlights456X like i said in my previous comment its repetitive crap , the same thing tony bitching about his mum, about carmella, about money, and about his gooma , it was just timewasting, the director probably did it to be diffrent but it didnt work, also if it was 10 mins every 3 epsides it would be okay not 15 mins every episode

  • @Thegoldstarman failtroll

  • you and your gay phrases, how about you take a cola bottle oil it up and have fun homo

  • @Thegoldstarman No thanks

  • @range567W failtroll? that sounds like the words of a nerdy rpg gamer

  • @Thegoldstarman Is it?

  • John Cooper lyrical assassin!!

  • "Now get your fuckin shine box Phil.."

  • @Veldtian1

NICE! But they cut him later hahaha

  • 38 ppl gave Phil's ancestors shit

  • "::sigh::.....i can't even say his name..."

  • I LIVE & BREATH "THE SOPRANOS" <3

  • 38 are Tony Sopranos cousin

  • "That cocksuckin piece of shit Tony Sopranos cousin..can't even say his name" {Tony} LOLOL

  • "That fuckin' animal Blundetto...."

  • I saw the entire series. Christopher is beyond doubt the best actor in that epic series.

  • @Vavazelus With the extraordinarily cast featured on the Sopranos, choosing the best among such overwhelmingly talented actors is very difficult and really comes down to a matter of personal taste but I'd have to agree with you.The scene in which Christopher accused Tony of getting oral sex from Andriana, Tony, the rest of the crew take Christopher out at night, Tony pointing a gun at his head threatening to blow his brains out, is awesome. That scene convinced me he is indeed the best actor

  • @topsalespro Bro, those friggen tequila commericals with Chrissy are the shit as well.

  • By the end of this you knew ahit was going to kick off with Frank and Tony.

  • 38 people are cock sucking pieces of shit

  • @Giumelz lol. You're damn right! :-) What the f**k is the matter with these a-holes?

  • They should do another sopranos, but set in the 50's telling the story of tony and christophers father

  • Christoper's eyes. What an actor. What that inward gaze foretold.

  • I still remember havint the chills watching this, thinking someone was going to get killed in the church..

  • How much restraint did they show not making ONE godfather joke?

  • @gongboy83 That is not the case. There are at least 2 scenes in the series in which

"The Godfather" trilogy is featured. Silvio Dante had a routine in which he mocks Michael Corleone aka Al Pacino to the delight of Tony and the crew at the Badda-Bing.

Another scene in which Silvio Dante recreates a similar routine at one of Tony's backyard barbecues.

  • @topsalespro That's not what I mean, though I see how you made that inference. I mean they never made a joke about Tony being godfather to Christopher's child. I mean... Chrissy, Paulie, Silvio... not one "Hey... here comes the Godfather" as Tony walks into a room in a subsequent episode.

  • @gongboy83 Thanks. But actually there is a reference to Tony as "Godfather". Feech La Manna does call Tony "Godfather" in a very derisive, conscending way when Tony admonishes him for hijacking the cars in their territory and Feech the old timer that he was finds the way he is being marginalized by Tony funny, self-deprecating especially

when Tony catches him not coughing up Tony's end of the deal and Tony gets pissed telling Feech how it was the second time he's playing catch-up with Feedch

  • @gongboy83 Feech laughs in a very devilish self-humored way calling Tony "Godfather"

  • Yes, and Carmela and Father Intintola discuss the merits of The Godfather and Goodfellas in "College", but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm saying that no character jokes about - or mentions - even once - that Tony is Godfather to Christopher's child. I'm saying that David Chase is a genius because he never takes the obvious route. Anyway, Feech was locked back up by the time of the baptism.

  • Respond to this video... I've often wondered if any of the writers were Jewish. Being Jewish I found the refences very interesting some esoteric, as a matter of fact, like the "gornisht" comment, one in which certainly went over most of the audience's head. I'd love to hear your comments, get feedback on this. Thanks.

  • @topsalespro You jews make me sick.

  • @jamaljordan Hey, everybodys. deyy noww gotts dah internets att deh ass-sylumm inn my padded sell. yippees. yumm yumm dees medd-dehh-sinns taysst gudd.

  • @jamaljordan THE DONKEY TRIES TO SUCK the FAGGOT Messenger of CUMMM, MOO-HAMM-MADD'S COCK BUT MOOOH-HAMM-MADD DOESN'T LIKE TO PULL HIS DICK OUT OF THE CAMEL'S ASS

  • @topsalespro Lol mate you cleary have some issues. You need to learn how to spell. You need to fuck your curly side burn grandfather in the ass! Then bang your mum who wears a wig. Aw wait that's right, hitler shaves the bitches hair off.

    FUCK ALL YOU JEWS!

  • @topsalespro View the Eternal Jew and pay attention to the killing of the cow. Then watch Hitler rage. You'll have your answer! On a side bar, most here don't need to hear your fucking thoughts on a entertaining show. Feeling me homie? You loving the comment?

  • @topsalespro

Yeah I saw that episode Im sure they put that in as it was a Jewish guy speaking its pretty obvious he would use his own slang/terms when interacting same as the Italians using theirs the black guys using theirs it makes sense, dont know if any writers are Jewish,Yeah I wondered what that word ''Gornisht'' meant thanks for clearin that up.

  • @topsalespro. Yes, you're right. You know, the way we all read these days, catching a glimpse not getting th entire gist of comments, I saw the word "Godfather", reflexively responding to your comment inaccurately, in reference to the Godfather lore. Had I read your entire point, with the word baptism included I would have agreed and not responded in any way. Quesion: In your Soprano 'expert' capacity, what is your opinion regarding the frequency of references to Jewish culture? cont'd

  • Respond to this video... In your Soprano 'expert' capacity, what is your opinion regarding the frequency of references to Jewish culture? The hasidic motel owners, Tony making comments about Hesh, Hesh's discontent about Tony not making timely payments, Tony having to make good on late fees, complaing to Dr. Melfi about hooking a gold coin at the end of a pole to attract Jews, Hesh's Orthodox son-in-law. There's a Jewish/Yiddish reference you may not have realized. When Tony's friend,

  • Respond to this video... When Tony's lawyer friend, the father of the bride, rushes urgently from the abbreviated wedding ceremony to the Bada-Bing after the car heist desperately seeking Tony's intervention to retrieve his guest's Mercedes, he pleads with Tony for help, saying (if the car is not retrieved) I'm a "gornisht" in his eyes. Gornisht is the word for "nothing" in Yiddish. Anyway, do you believe the Jewish/Yiddish references were out of the ordinary? I've often wondered if any

  • if it was fucking instead of bloody it would be even cooler...

  • bo bore of dis

  • That shot where they Tony and Christopher are dwarfed by the church is one of the best especially with the music and when they hug the tension is so thick you could chop it with a knife and serve it on your toast!

  • the finest 90 seconds in the sopranos

  • As much as love Tony and the Jersey crew, there was always a sense that if it came to it, New York woulda cleaned house, but that would've been catastrophic for buisness, man I wish this show was still going.

  • 37 People wants it one more

  • phil is the best period

no more butchy no more of this

  • was it phil's brother who came into the cafe at the end and got tony?

  • @CFCwillyb Phil's brother was murdered by T's cousin

  • @DjCootABanG sorry i worded that wrong, yes billy leotardo was killed by tony b, but i think there is another leotardo who enters the bar, perhaps phil's son, they look alike and he is wearing that same member's only jacket as we saw before

  • Respond to this video... The other tony

  • no more butchie, no more of dis

  • @breakfastclub75 lol phill said "no more butchie, no more OF THIS" he didnt say dis LOL

  • @sweetasflip LOL!!!

  • stuck in fuckin chicken town

  • we've all had moments like phil's here when we think "no more shit..."

  • name of the song?

  • @nandobarth10 he posted it...

  • @nandobarth10

John Cooper Clarke - Evidently Chickentown

  • John Sacrimoni: have one on um. *raises glass

  • Does anyone know how this John Cooper Clarke song ended up in The Sopranos?

  • @horsehospital David Chase heard it once and wanted to use it in something. Brilliant.

  • @FullAvSykdom I agree. Part of the reason Phil killed Vito was becaue Tony refused to give blundetto even though Blundetto deserved to be tortured

  • Chrissy just reminds me of Michael Corleone here!

  • "Leotardo... that's my fucking legacy. No more Butchie. No more this."

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • @alpacinoravidutt - It's in the description of this vid, could of been made a bit clearer though.

  • @alpacinoravidutt john cooper clarke: chicken town

  • 0:55 R.I.P Johnny Sac

  • your the man Frank

  • @bigfloseph I thought you said i was the man? He the man. You the man. Who the man???

  • @Finalize777, lmao!! loved that line.

  • Is this song great because of this episode or is the episode great because of the song? Love the Sopranos and Evidently Chickentown. Somehow the song makes me feel like I'm in a war zone in Iraq.

  • you knew Christopher wasn't making it out of the show alive after this scene...

  • This song makes the ending so perfect.

  • Check out that sucka AJ at 0:58 with some broad who gots a kid lol

  • hypertense!

  • John Cooper Clarke is a Manc legend. Only fitting he closed an episode of the best drama ever. mu muf mufc ok!

  • Leotardo... That's MY fuckin' legacy.

  • No way the best ending scene. Tons of others are way better.

  • @ediblehatred examples?

  • Straight out of a "Grand Theft Auto" cutscene...

  • the song is John Cooper Clarke’s “Evidently Chickentown if anyone want to know

  • BRING BACK THIS SHOW DAVID CHASE YOU CUNT1

  • Pure Manc poetry

  • cool scene, but that song fuckin sucks

  • @morrieswigs twat

  • @tinytina789 calm down

  • @morrieswigs twat

  • you only get the true feel of this when you watched it the first time, and you had no idea what was about to happen. I remember thinking there was going to be a killing during the church scene similar to godfather

  • poor Adriana .. that should've been her .. cruel world !

  • @steelermia

Adriana broke the Omerta. She had to pay.

  • the beginning of the end

  • greatest show was ever on t.v.....make the fuckin film you cock suckers.

  • @32IRISHPRIDE there is no need for a movie, more likely is to do wrong to the 'LEGEND" of The Sopranos the ....BEST FUCKIN SHOW IN THE HISTORY OF UNIVERSAL TELEVISION...!

    i said my piece...;)

  • Its a poem by John Cooper Clarke (The Bard of salford) called Chickentown. Have a look at his other stuff....Class

  • Medigons is italian slang for non-italians.

  • @DuncanDisordely

    whats the song called?

  • @79Testo twat

  • he's saying amedigans, i think, as in Americans. could be wrong.

  • at 0:24 secs Phil says "mitigons"?

    what is that?

what song is this that plays at the end?

  • is that vito rizzuto sons' photo on the wall at 0:51 secs ?

  • The ominous feeling of the music is perfect

  • Phil : No more Butchy, no more of this..... Now go home and get your fucking shinebox lol

  • powerful...perfectly acted..

  • what episode is this?

  • Haha it just occurred to me...

''Tony'' and ''cousin'' gotta be the 2 most used words ever in american-italian mafia XD

  • @LosKochisarlii06 Yeah, Chrissy always had a weak streak w/drugs and self esteem.

  • @LosKochisarlii06 Yeah, I recently got hooked on it. I'm watching the pg-13 version repeats on A&E, which is good enough for me. I like all the tough guy mob stuff, but some of the other stuff that was on the uncut HBO version was a little over the top for me. I'm up to the episode where Adrianna's new best friend is an FBI agent.

  • Go home a get ya' shine box!lol.

  • @LosKochisarlii06 Thanks, I figured it out when I actually read the sub-heading.lol. Cool song, cool scene.

  • This scene simply = perfect.

  • It's all in Chrissy's eyes.

  • Never let personal stuff get in your way when you're in that kinda business ;-)

  • Phil Leotardo was the best of the Soprano characters, played to perfection by Frank Vincent...most of the best scenes in series 5 and 6 involve Vincent, like this one

  • Comment removed

  • ha i was hoping it was this one, favourite ending

  • salute to Frank Vincent...sensational scene, particularly from 33-56...this is what puts Sopranos way ahead of anything else on TV

  • "No more of this" phill is one of those characters you love to hate!

  • Perfect song for the TV show the sopranos!

  • so this is when phil flips out on the sopranos

  • phil was a fucking bad ass!

  • You can feel the tension between Chris and Tony, the song really fits the final scene.

  • Tony saved Phil a job! Lol Shame Chrissy turned out a disappointment in the end but I guess you could see it coming - he fantasised about being a made guy but he wasn't really up to it...

  • how do they do it?

  • this song really goes with the scene

  • Pax Soprana had the best ending.

  • my favorite ending

  • who's kid was that

  • @Apink420 That's Chris' kid.

  • spot on !!!

  • They always used music to such amazing effect in this show.

  • "No more Butchie, no more of this...."...lol i knew phil would be a problem....good scene

  • lol, phil was billy batts when he got murdered, ironic

  • Love this ending. I remember watching this live and getting so hyped for the season. The shots of everyone in the family, sitting in the church was very scary and cool, it felt like any one of them was in danger and could die by seasons end.

Of course, Chris Sil Bobby and Phil died (Sil's debatable but id say he's effectively deceased)

But at this point, everyone was in danger and it really felt like it

    Very good ending

  • Great show.. bless from Serbia

  • the other guy is doing good as john torrio on boardwalk empire which is also a good show

  • I remember when i saw this ending of the show the first time, I thought Tony would die

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG CALLED?????

  • @Shujinkjoe fuck

  • evidently chickentown - john cooper clarke

  • what are mittigons?

  • Remember this episode. So cool.

The Sopranos and The Wire, best TV ever made hands down.

  • Love this scene, the baptism of Christopher's child with T as the Godfather!

  • Comment removed

  • Frank Vincent is quite an actor...

  • Uh oh an italian baptism, NOT GOOD FOR ALOT OF PEOPLE !!!

  • what a bizarre choice of song for this!

  • @lvivboi oh but it fits the mood. with phil's speech and when he finishes with "...no more butchie, no more of this." and the song starts playing. i sat there like, "oh phil's gonna fuck everything up, there's gonna be a shitstorm plaguing these last episodes."

  • Best ending, confirmed. Please re-upload, let the credits run, and the song play. Just finished this episode the other night at like 3am while in the midst of watch the series all the way through, and it sent shivers down my spine knowing what is up next.
