Ok this was my number one favorite movie wen I was b/t tha age 14-20. I still love it but the older I get, the movie (this scene in particular) loses its spark. Dont jump dwn my throat hardcore fans, but as I mature I always ask myself if Quincy was even worth fighting for. Call me lazy, but if I hav 2 challenge a man to a game of basketball to make him admit/acknowledge that he loves me; then tyra banks can hav him lol

Talking to him wasn't getting no where so she had to play him. Even though he won, he still saw what it was that she wanted him to see. You have to understnd the significance of the game. The game brought them together

I guess everyone is gonna walk away from the movie with their own opinions, I just think that the movie overly romanticizes their relationship. How basketball shaped their relationship was sweet, but it doesnt overshadow the fact that Quincy was childish and he played too many games, he had some growing up to do before he could be in a relationship.

it's because he was trying to prove a point...earlier in the scene right before this when they were between their houses he tells her the sun doesn't rise or set on her ass...he was basically showing her that she can't expect everything to go her way...but yah he still wants her...he's showing her that sometimes it can be too late...but not for him even though he made her think that it was until he said double or nothing...
