really you people are missing the message...these people have went through troubles and struggles and last time i checked god was their to listen and he just doesnt plain out gives people stuff but if that person keeps trying and believes in their selves they will succeed....god didnt give them the stuff god pushed them through their stuggles and helped them...no one is saying they used praying as a sort of "well i did this now do this for me"

I seem 2 recall a scripture that says the prayer of a ritghteous man availeth much ....hmmm. This song is boasting about them itrs giving God credit for their success...saying that this is ungodly is saying the story of Job and all his riches is also ungodly think through carefully b4 you judge GOD'S BLESSING...AS LONG AS YOU GIVE HIM ALLL THE GLORY IS NOTHING 2 B ASHAMED OF

God has given me many material blessings, all of which I'm extremely thankful to him for. But all that is NOTHING compared to JESUS' DEATH on the CROSS that purchased FORGIVENESS for my SINS, the gift of ETERNAL LIFE, and the opportunity to RELATE PERSONALLY to GOD. THAT is the message the people NEED to hear!!! Mary Mary WASTED an OPPORTUNITY to fulfill their call to the ministry and ended up telling people how fly they were instead. Self-glorification is an IDOL and must be destroyed

but shouldnt our testimony rather be how God transforms us from sinners into His righteous children through Jesus Christ dying on the cross and shedding his blood fo us so we would not have our deserved punishment which is everlasting damnation in hell

UMMM GOD'S BLESSING IS NOTHING 2 BE ASHAMED OF. They are giving glory 2 God! Saying that any good you see is coming fr. God through PRAYER. We can not be too heavenly minded and no earthly good. the entire song is about giving GOD CREDIT FOR THEIR SUCCESS! they are not boasting @ all
