Firstly, if you're talking about controls making people actually work, they really don't unless you're talking about sports games which aren't really for hardcore gamers anyway. And once you dig through all the party game crap you have some good games. List of Hardcore games off the very top of my head: madworld, manhunt, CoD: world at war, Godfather, The Grinder, House of the dead overkill, Dead space extraction, N more heroes, Resident Evil: the darkside chronicles. And the list goes on and on
