Best thing to do is let everyone know u have a nice car, park it were it can be easily stolen with the car unlocked and sleep in the back of it with loaded .357 magnum and shoot the mofo and make sure everyone knows then they will know not to fuck with u ( this only works if ur a light sleeper)
Srry should of rephrased that does nebody kno if u can have this thing and a 2 way car alarm. Doesn't really matter when u have a newer car mine can detect when wires are being messed with. My door light on my 05 nissan altima was hanging by the wire so I cut the wire to get it off since I don't need a door light neways my car senced the cut wire and made it so I can't take my car outa park to go newhere couldn't even get it in nuetral had to have it towed to my local nissan dealer. Anti hotwire
This might keep a theif from stealing your car or atleast slow him down. but does nebody kno if you can still hook up another alarm to protect your valuables such as high end electronics, I'm not so worried about my actual car being stolen shit ill jus get a new 1 do to insurance what my alarm is for is my high end sterio stuff.
Okay... I bet I could steal any car with this feature. In fact, professional thieves do it all the time. GM has the issue the worst, thieves break the window, get in, break the shifter so it goes into neutral, then a second vehicle pushes the first vehicle to a "safe" spot, strip it, then leave it.
Newer cars have some sort of anti-theft that won't allow the car to start anyway, that picture showed a Ford PATS Key. So it's redundant. Here's a video about the theft: HJBpLefsxks
an alarm will send them to the guy that has none ...... a tow truck will steal any car no questions asked and this system will not stop someone breaking a window to steal your phone change in the ashtray etc
my dads car got stolen yesterday the same car ansd they found it today was all striped and nothing inside so sad!!! but hes gone get a new 1 FOR FREE!!!!!! YAY!!! (THOSE GUYS WHO DID IT WILL GO TO HELL AND BEFORE THEY GO I WILL KILL THEM LOL) HONDA ACCORD MY DADS CAR
Pretty funny how people are so quick to talk about how this car alarm is shit, when there has not been a single car stolen ever since the Ravelco came out.
Honestly kids, do your research, look on their site, find info all over the net (you're on the net right now! *gasp!*)
My M6 just got stolen. Seems someone at the dealer may have issued him a key. Either that or they copied the keys code while valet parked somewhere. This seems like it would atleast slow them down.
It doesn't matter if the wires are black... if you still want the car, you'll know what wires to look for. They all tap into coloured wires!! Just get a schematic for it!! :)
No, Ravelco manufactures these things so that no two deactivating keys are the same. If you want to buy a replacement, you have to provide proof that you are the owner and not a potential thief.

All black wires and a special key form...big deal.
Powerlock or Factory RFID based immobilizers aren't bypassed.
RFID in car systems use challenge response by the way and not unique ids. You can still clone the keys with a $800+ cloner though..

That device installed would probably cost more than my Effin Car!

A thief is NOT gonna spend a fuckload of time trying to steal a car. He's gonna go after one he can get in and out with...
