Datsyuk can do things with a stick that some can only dream of, But like I said, this has not been a good offseason for the Wings, and their PK is only going to get worse with Chelios gone.
If the ducks can keep Datsyuk scoreless like they did in the post season, which is where he usually shines, then any team can.
Sure Abdelkader is in his prime, yet completely unproven in regular season play.

Anaheim won the year before that, and almost won the cup in 03, they've been in the playoffs consistently and are one of the most successful teams since the lock out and they, unlike Detroit, actually made some good off season trades to make them even better than they were last year.

The only reason Wild games are selling out is because there isn't much else to watch.
In Southern California, you could do basically any sport you want, surfing? Down the coast. Snowboarding? Why, Big Bear and Mammoth are a couple of hours away. Hockey? Theres quiet a few Ice rinks around. Tennis, football, soccer, swimming, anything.

I was at the Preds game today and the atmosphere was awesome. But this years Western Conference champs came through. Losing this series was dissapointing. But the most painful part was seeing the cameras focus in on Selanne and Sotty and know we won't get to see them anymore. Thanks guys for the cup!

Well, despite you being a complete ASSHOLE, I'd like to congratulate you and your team on your victory. It was well won. Robidas and company played an amazing series, and really stuck it to the reigning Stanley Cup Champions.

Christ, you think I'm a dallas fan? Sure there are cheap shots everywhere, but last I checked Pronger and co. have the suspensions that speak for themselves.

Well said Warmoth. As much as I hate the Wings, I can engage in friendly smack with them, but I have no right to go to one of their videos right now and diss them. They have more cups and just because we beat them last yr does not mean we are all the sudden better.

Do you think the Xcel center will last that long? Seems with the current trend of shitty craftsmanship these days, no building will ever last until the end of time. Therefor, how can the Wild sell out a building until the end of time, when it probably won't last longer than 50 years at best...
I remember the last time Minn. sold out. They sold out to Dallas, and became the Stars. Then actually managed to win a Cup, since Minn, couldn't..
