Sorry but i have to say that a fail occured in the video what you mean by M31 you mean M13 right? M31 is a typical galaxy the andromeda. But Nice Video Anyways...
Just came across your video, well done :) Your set up is almost exactly the same I started with, though I was using a Meade 10 sct opposed to the Newt-Schmidt.
I would like to add that to get the best images from this camera, it is essential that you have the darkest sky possible without stray light. This CCD is very sensitive and will result in images that have a bright center... as you can see in many of these images. Perhaps a higher-resolution format will help fix this?
I have a Meade Deep Sky Imager lll video go check if u want i did buy the pro colour version i think...

Nice images, i would like to have the sam dark sky and a acceptable seeing to make images like yours.
But you have a little mistake in your description, in Hercules is no M31. to be succsessful.

Nice images, friend. I hope to but a Meade 8" LX200 & DSI II at christmas. Any advice on astrophotography texts or websites? :-)

Nice stuff. I really liked NGC 2309. Nice color in the ring nebula. How is the LXD75 mount holding up with that larger 10" OTA?
attheeyepiece 7 months ago
@attheeyepiece My mistake, it is NGC 2903. The LXD75 mount is at its limit with that big tube: I have to watch the polar alignment very closely.
RCseer 7 months ago
@attheeyepiece The LXD75 mount does fairly well with the 10" OTA. I do have to re-align frequently though.
