  • 1 person didn't return the eagle.

  • @RaBiiDFrYproductions

Im talking about the lead instrument.im aware of what the instruments uou mentioned are and it sounds like neither.. its definately a string instrument and certain parts of the song could only have been done on a fiddle or violin

  • Fucking cried when I watched this vid, those romans in the film, so goddamn brave

  • @KaiserGray94 It wasn't as simple as that. The Romans wanted materials in Celtic lands for their own benefit, they didn't want to destroy the people . Celtic culture survives today because the independent Celts were some of the only people in Europe stable or unchanged enough after the fall of the Roman Empire to survive relatively unscathed from attacks from eastern invaders. Otherwise, celtic culture would have been absorbed and forgotten long ago.

  • more uk music by atli orvasson!!! where can i find more??

  • The Romans tried destroying the Celts because like them we were great... but then again it is the Celts, not the Romans, that still exist to this day... let Celtic culture survive for much longer... let it continue to grow and once again thrive...

  • It sounds more like a fidle than violin (but i guess they are kinda the same thing)

  • @GreenGhost494 its not either its bagpipe and herdiegerdie old forgotten language and herdie gerdie player are only found in places that still go on tradition modern day scotland norwegian nord and gaelic towns

  • the disliker must be nuts

  • @Grovius8 I think the disliker must like rap or someother fake music

  • @KaiserGray94 I like this music and I like rap. It depends what type your talking about. Modern rap is shit in my opinion, but stuff from the 90's is great.

  • I´m looking for notes to violin. Do you know it? Please :)

  • The best two minutes and fifty three seconds of my life.

  • buy a 500 dollar violin and start!

  • Thanks a lot!!!

  • its like rick roling in the north

  • I wish Italy could get back 1 per cent of what it has been in the ancient time... just 1 per cent... not this shit with Berlusconi, corruption, mafia and so on... just 1 per cent...

  • @MediterraneanBlood Congratulations, that was Rome that was so kickass

  • @minieyke it's the same thing, like united kingdom and british empire

  • @JungoBango No, it's not

  • @MediterraneanBlood why the heck are you spacing percent?

  • As soon as the movie is over and this song starts to play all you want to do is break out into a giant grin and stand up and dance. And that is exactly what I do.

  • Oh This is an irish folk song calles The Musical Priest, is it not? =)

  • @MichelleSeven Ya your right, search 'The Dubliners - The Musical Priest'

  • how does this music kind is called... i always liked that type of music but dont know what to look for?? :/

  • @remsdh Celtic Violin. Or just Celtic Music in general. Some artists you can try are: Ashley MacIsaac, Natalie MacMaster, Greg Joy...there are lots.

  • @IBiteTheHandThatFed thanx mate :)

  • @remsdh irish reel =)

  • @MichelleSeven Scottish and Irish music are very much very similar, due to the fact it's Celtic music, the two countries are connected from deep roots. Regardless of whether the Scotti (that you saw in the film) were indigenuous to Scotland or not.

Amazing song, makes me proud to be Scottish :)

  • Atli ovarrson is the best composer ever

  • Watch'..Movies'`,Online`,.Here``"

  • @0rangaStang I'm German and Russian. When I watch war movies, I'm always divided among who I support lol. Even when I play World at War, shooting Germans seems strange to me.

  • @IBiteTheHandThatFed Haha, I know what you mean! I've got some Scottish blood in me from my grandfather, but the rest of me is English, and those two countries used to go at it hammer and tongs on a regular basis. I'm torn over who to root for :)

  • @MrAlexandreDrouin - england subsidises scotland financially though

  • Comment removed

  • @FightersOnlyMagazine @FightersOnlyMagazine.... I think you should get your Facts Straight ..About England financing Scotland..

Since 2008 Scottish Oil that was worth £22,831 a minute, £32 million a day, £12 billion a year. It is the £1.2 Trillion to come out of the known oil and gas fields of the North Sea that are helping the UK Debt

  • this is just awesome!

  • i...can't...stop...hitting....the...replay...buuttoooon!!

  • @MrAlexandreDrouin Hahaha Here here

  • Such a good song to listen to whilst doing some Physics work for uni!

  • The music of that movie gave me an absolute rush, the movie itself was quite a bland experience, with some extra blandness thrown in for good measure

  • Totally reminds me of my trip to wales ... those were the best five weeks I have ever had and I'll never forget this time <3

This summer I'm going to travel to Scotland ... can't wait to see the Highlands and listen to this music while being there =)

  • I'm addicted to this track alhkg;ladhg; <3333

  • love it

  • I love this movie, but most especially, I love this music!!!

  • this piece is just pure brilliance!!! love it.. absolutely love it!

  • Hahaha, once again using Uilleann Pipes (Irish pipes) for the sound of the Highlands. Oh well, that's artistic license for you! Ach chòrd e rium gun robh a' Ghàidhlig ann. Suas leis a' Ghàidhlig!!!!

  • @hafpipe I'm glad. personally I like Uilleann Pipes more than Bagpipes.

  • Nice Song :)

  • If this music is from the beginning of this year, I can't imagine what's coming for the rest of the year.

  • @RandomLoser21 I think competition for the epicness of The Eagle will be too tall an order to beat. I long had an idea for a movie like this, Romans vs. Britons, and the fact that they were speaking Scottish Gaelic for real (I understood it) and not some made up gibberish is just sooo much WIN!!!!! (Native Gaelic Speakers FTW!!!)

  • @Gameguru667 - soundtrack is amazing, the actual film was crap. Really disappointed with it

  • AHHH, I love this soundtrack SOOO Much! It's so beautiful and gave me shivers while it boomed through the dark theatre. Truly a feel of the Highlands! <3

  • @HBK316

    All the same mate!!!

  • @HBK316 It never made the theathre here in Belgium :( , but i watched it on Bluray already :)

  • @HBK316 more information on the musicians - the Neff Brothers - available on neffbros.eu :)
