@KaiserGray94 It wasn't as simple as that. The Romans wanted materials in Celtic lands for their own benefit, they didn't want to destroy the people . Celtic culture survives today because the independent Celts were some of the only people in Europe stable or unchanged enough after the fall of the Roman Empire to survive relatively unscathed from attacks from eastern invaders. Otherwise, celtic culture would have been absorbed and forgotten long ago.
