well i had them tune the suspension, they did it for $7 instead of $65, but they didn't do a full tune, like with me on the bike, they kinda just tuned it to the standard for my weight, but it does handle so much better. i wasn't too upset that they tweaked other things, i just wish they would have told me when i picked it up.

well i got a courtesy call about it yesterday, they said they gave the bike a once over when they changed out the tires and adjusted the suspension to my weight, and while they did that they corrected some things like free play and stuff, they said my clutch was out of spec so they went ahead and fixed it so i didn't burn my clutch. personally i think it was fine before, so whatever.

well, probably not, but the work order says "all maintenance using new parts, covered by a 30 day warranty" but i don't think it applies to tires. i took it out and put on about 50 miles, and the tires seem trustworthy. i'll wait till my stripes are gone before i try anything special. i will say, that my clutch feels different, the friction zone is now really close to the end of the lever range, it might just be me, but my trust level with this dealership has gone down.

so i got home from the dealer today, turns out those tires were made in 05 and 06

one in the 38th week of 2005, one in the 34th week of 06. so i think they sold them at such a low price because they were creeping up on their factory warranties. kinda sucks. i'm gonna see how well i truse these tires, if i don't like them i'll take it back, i'll probably call the dealer to make sure.

welcome to the cut pipe club. why didn't you relocate the end cap? thats what everyone else does, personally i think it looks better that way. what kind of paint did you use? high temp enamel or something? i need to sand and paint my pipe, i'm goin to bike night tonight. i'll have a video up soon, AND tomorrow i get new tires, front and back D208's for 168 mounted! alright dude have fun on that thing, looks nice (wish i could keep mine in a garage, REALLY helps longevity)
