Jesus was the first and last many things. For instance, the first and last thing that God [Jehovah] created alone. All further creation was done by Jehovah and His masterworkman [Jesus] as a team. As the only begotten Son of God, heir and ruling King of Heaven, Jesus shares many titles with His Father.
Isaiah 44: 6 Thus saith Jehovah [THE LORD] the King of Israel, and his redeemer Jehovah [THE LORD] of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Revelation 1:17 And when I saw him [THE LORD JESUS], I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Matthew 28:19: "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." You note the authority was given him. He did not have it till given it.
By whom? According to Jesus, "my Father and your Father, to my God and your God." Jesus had a God.
And Jehovah? Isaiah 43:10, "Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. I - I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no God.” Jehovah had no God.
Seems most non-KJV preachers are filled with playing the Greek game. God's word in scripture isn't good enough for them. People like Billy Sunday never acted so silly - he preached the bible, plain and simple.
The original bible wasn't written in Greek, it was written in Aramaic. Greeks translated the bible from the original and then English translated it into different language, but did people actually sit down and learn Aramaic so they could read the original?
@Goatboy1112 No, this is wrong. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, and portions of it were Aramaic. The New Testament was written in koine Greek.
Can you then tell me, which came first - the 18 specific languages spelled out in Acts two, or the "original Greek"? If you say Pentecost came first, then would you kindly explain to me how the 18 languages represented and present there could not give the Bible just as inspired as "the Greek"? How is it that there are clear, historical records of the Bible (NT in spec.) in other languages older than ANY Greek text if only the Greek could be the true inspired word of God?
Internationally renowned for its accuracy, the Authorized Version of the Holy Bible (KJV) preserves the Old Testament and the New Testament in exemplary English, which were translated flawlessly into our common language in its Golden Age
For the English-speaking peoples, the King James Bible is the final authority in all matters because it is the Holy Scriptures, divinely inspired, inerrant, infallible, and preserved in English, which is the lingua franca of our contemporary world.
Thanks for posting the Gipper! He was the first to convince me that the King James Bible is God's one and only word for the English-speaking believer.
here we have nephilim the real issue you seem to consider inspiration equal to preservation. Both are functions of God in relationship to his word. inspiration litterally means "breathed out by" God. this is true of the original writtings by the original authors as demonstrated in 2tim3:16.
Preservation differs from this in that it is an act of God providing that God's word will accomplish what God intended. this is demonstrated in Isaiah 55:11 where God says that his word will "accomplish that which I please" clearly a word breathed out once, need only be preserved to accomplish what God pleased. not breathed out again, implying that what was first inspired was lost thus not fulfilling God's purpose.

"The King James Bible is the Final Authority for every true Christian believer. The Word of God is perfect and absolutely pure."
Genesis 2:18 "And the LORD God said , It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." (KJV)
"...I will make him an help meet for him"
What is "an help meet?'
"Perfect and absolutely pure." Decide for yourself.
"... I am going to make a helper for him,". (NWT)
"...I will make a helper suitable for him." (NIV)

There is no way any man can prove the King James Translation was inspired by God.
The FACT is only the original Greek and Hebrew was inspired. To espouse otherwise is a LIE.
What Gipp ostensibly is saying is: The Word of God is the translation of men. He is a liar.

prove the originals were inspired.

Where on the bible says that the King James Version is God's one and only word for the English-speaking believer?
You guys in this movement just really messes up, you are making the translation equal to the inspired original Hebrew and Greek manuscript.
