A good cover isn't only about how accurately it's played? It is your own personal interpretation of the song. Staying true to the song's hooks and phrases that 'define' the song, along with timing and key; so it will be recognized for the song it is yet have your style blended in, making it your own cover.

it isnt too hard of a solo. the hard sounding parts are just tapping. the sweeps are slow but still MOST sweeps are hard and thats a six string sweep making it hard no matter how fast you play it.

i rate this solo:

difficulty six/ten

sound one hundred/ten

No that is not sweeping. While the technique played may be an arpeggio, it is not a sweep arpeggio. The notes are alternately picked in this case, not "swept." Alternate picking is not the correct technique for this solo as when Alex Scholnick plays it, however alternate picking these notes is actually more technically difficult.
