I saw the story of a soldier that received a brain injury from shrapnel from combat; his memory and cognitive skill have been greatly reduced. He was denied full disability and is only getting partial disability because some bearcats claim he had a preexisting condition. That is a lame copout; he probably had something like ADD as a child. But as an adult he was good enough to serve in combat and do all the work and take all the risks, so he should get full benefits.

Some soldiers are given the royal treatment, the best docs, rehab, hardware (artificial limbs), while others seem to have to beg just to get basic treatment and only get a fraction of benefits. It seems like some are portrayed as heroes, and get great care and are made poster children, while the rest seem much less better care and benefits, some seem to be portrayed as goldbrickers just to reduce the befit payouts.

I think it is also a shame that there seems to be such disparity in the health care and disability of our solders. Some seem to get superb care and benefits, most seem to get minimal treatment, while some seem to be left to wither, rot and die on the vine. I think Clinton gutted much of the military benefits.

I can't to any better, but I don't think your singing is too hot. However I do have great sympathy for your plight. I think it is a shame that families of our soldiers don't have decent health care.
