Is it easy to change the stick. I know American "bat" style joystick are less responsive, but I'm more used to them.

Also if you ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE the "bat" style and want responsiveness you could just throw a bat top on the Sanwa stick. lol :P pretty much is like the Happ sticks.

That is what I did. I also changed the square gate inside for an octagonal one. I am now totally happy with my purchase. :D

Only bad thing about the stick is the square gate that makes it hard to do moves if you are used to octagon gates. American arcades use octo gates or full circle gates. So I ordered my octo gate to make my moves register easier. Other then that it's a great stick.

Can somebody tell me wut the point is and what advantages you get from a "stick" or pad.

with a fightpad you get all the buttons on the front of the controller so you dont have to reach back to get the other buttons. Their is a loose but firm d-pad to help you pull off motins easir than the stiff x360 d-pad. Wit the ps3 you wont have to worry bout that. For the stick you get full control over all the motions, and it is very easy to pull of ultras as apposed to the fightpads and all the controllers. GO with the stick

I second that. However, I recommend waiting a bit for price of fighting sticks to go down a bit. The release of sf4 cranked up the demand for fighting sticks and manufactures are scrambling to catch up. Anyways, get a fighting stick - your thumb will thank you for it :)

@cn324 even tho this was posted a yr ago, i can honestly say that the prices haven't actually gone down!! i was lucky enought to find a ssf4 stick last sunday for my birthday for 129.99. It was the lat one they had, but i think all of them are that price now so, take your chances....i'm sure you have one by now!!

On that high end stick, it seems as if the stick is a full 360 degree motion. But on that other one, are we talking about a box style 360 motion? Or are they both box or full 360 motion?
