  • I thought this was for long hair

  • Looks good. Thanks for the simple and easy-to-see tutorial.

I don't understand what she did with the tips of hair though. Looks like she tucked it in somewhere, but how?

  • THAT was bloody amazing! You could definitely tweak it to suit yourself, personally I would pull the hair at the back out a little more. Good job girly x

  • wow¡¡¡wow¡¡¡espectacular¡¡¡¡ wonderful¡¡¡¡¡

  • I buy them by the dozen at Claire's cause I use them (and break them slot). Best,

  • Thank you so much for this!!! This is so helpful! Where can I get a small comb like that?

  • ooor instead of the comb the tiara this makes perfect sense now

  • My name is Holly!

  • out of all the tutorials this is by far the easiest for a holly inspired look! Thanks!

  • thank you! i've been searching for tutorials for the breakfast at tiffany's look - they're all quite complex and i started to notice that my hair was just too long. this is so simple i was laughing - i just love it! thank you thank you thank you!

  • Sorry, it won't let me post a link!

  • @michelleevillalobos try typing like this: w w w . w h a t e v e r . c o m

  • That is a french twist comb. They have several different kinds at Claire's. You can see closeup pics of them here:

  • What do you do at second 0:33?? Do you use a hairpin or something? I can't see it!!

  • baš zgodno,brzo i jednostavno.super!

  • that is not fancy! thats like what u do to ur hair when u get out the shower!!

  • @princessnina1207 Sometimes the simple hairdos look the most graceful.

  • Snoo1809 - Try making a longer loop and then wrapping the ends around the base of the pony (rather than trying to tuck inside because it's probably too much hair). Perhaps use hair sticks instead of a comb since the loop may end up being too thick for the comb. Good luck!

Thanks to all for your lovely comments!

  • my hair is about two times longer - do you have any suggestions?

    awesome tutorial :)

  • wow that was awesome, and easy.thanks for posting.:)

  • thanks so much! I have to dress up as Holly Golightly for a project and this was very helpful!

  • Awesome idea, if I had long hair, I'd give it a try!

  • i have short hair so its kinda hard

  • nice ! :)

  • wow...

  • what kind of hairclip are you using?

  • It's not a clip - it's a comb. Like the kind you buy to do French twists. I've also been able to do it with hair sticks, but it's more difficult. Good luck!

  • fantastic! so simple and elegant!!!

  • so easy!!! It's amazing!!

    but a I have wvy hair...snifs!

  • I have wavy hair too - you can do it. Just try!

  • So glad to hear it!!! She's my idol (fashion-wise).

  • Can you tell me where you got the comb that you used in this? I'm doing Holly Golightly for Halloween this year, and having a hard time w/ the hair. Thanks!

  • Sorry for the delay. Claire's sells lots of these combs.

  • Thats so smart, quick, and easy.

  • I love it. I have too many layers in my hair to pull this off though :(

  • It's harder with layers, but if you do it wet with gel, that helps.

  • how cute! I wish we could see the front though

  • do you know how to do a "gibson"?

  • wow, that's awesome! i'm definitely going to try this out. <3

  • Just a regular hair comb, and in fact it works with other things too (like hair sticks). Enjoy!

  • i lovvvvvve this. but is that just a reg. comb you used tor the pouf? or a special tool.

  • muy bonita!

  • My gosh you did that fast! I'm about to give it a go and see how it will work for me. Love the hairstyle. Thanks for showing how to get it so easily :-)

  • oh wow that looked so simple. i have to try this when my hair grows out more.

  • Wow. Very easy indeed, and nice, too!

  • To DemureDamsel: I'm not sure but here are a few ideas:

    1. Just pull more through on the last loop, thus letting the "roll" be bigger - which means you'll just have a bigger poof on top.

    2. Pull through the same amount and just tuck more ends inside the roll.

    3. Some combination of the above two...

    4. Try pulling through the same amount and leaving more coming out the bottom, and then ROLL that around the poof and pin underneath. Then proceed with the same steps.

    Hope that helps!!

  • how do i do this if my hair is longer thn urs??

  • omg!!...its sooooooo cute n simple!!!

  • Wow! This is fantastic and easy! Very good. Kisses from Italy.

  • Enjoy! And post pics or video responses if you like! I'd love to see how people with different hair types play with it...

  • that was really cute! I never thought to attach a comb that way before! I'll def. try this out
