Mayweather will probably end up around the top 15

Robinson would have destroyed Mayweather. not only was he as fast as Mayweather, he had one punch knockout power, he could knock a guy out while going backward which is something that Mayweather doesn't have, he had great defense, and was a way better combination puncher. to say someone like Floyd Mayweather would beat Robinson is ridiculous. look at Robinson's career record and look up the guys on there. most of the guys he fought would be top fighters or champions in any era
@huskie14 there aren't really any fight videos of Robinson available prior to about 1952. so any fight film u see of him is him not even at his best. he turned pro in 1940 and had cleaned out the entire welterweight division by 1942 and was 40-0. he couldn't get a shot cuz he refused to deal with Frankie Carbo who was a mobster that controlled alot of boxing at the time. he didn't even get his first shot at the welterweight title till 1946. that much is well documented.

i'll give mayweather respect and say that he's one of the best fighters of his generation next to a prime roy jones, but there's no way he could stand up to a ray leonard or a sugar ray robinson. so his claim that he's the best of all time is really a reach. when he beats mosley, cotto, pacquiao, margarito, williams (not likely since he's fighting at middleweight), and berto i'll maybe put him in an all-time great list. not saying he can't beat those guys, but u never know till he fights them.

i think so. he's big, strong, hits hard, and he's pretty technically sound. i don't think he can beat floyd, but it could be a potentially risky fight for him. if he waits too long, berto might only be getting better and could potentially turn into his version of antonio tarver. or cotto for that matter. even if he loses to pacquiao, he still has the tools to beat floyd.

I never compared FLoyds highest selling fights as Great. And U can neer say FLoydis nowhere near those guys hes up there with all those guys and needs 2 more nig fights to surpass them. winning titles in multiple weight classes doesn't mean as much as it did when there were only 7 weight classes with 1 champion in each. there are 17 weight classes with at least 4 "champions" in each now. so those accomplishments don't mean as much as Ray Robinson literally cleaning out the welterweight and middleweight divisions of other great fighters. the term "pound-for-pound" was literally created for Robinson. no one comes close him. Mayweather will probably end up around the top 15

Mayweather might be as good or maybe even better than Leonard, but the Real Sugar Ray is just untouchable. he was 40-0 by his second year as a pro and had already cleaned out the division. i mean he had a 90 fight unbeaten streak and they were almost all against top fighters. his overall record was 175-19-6 with 110 knockouts. 13 of those losses came after he was 40 and just fighting for paychecks. Mayweather better take finance tips from DLH before he ends up like Robinson in that department.

@huskie14 there aren't really any fight videos of Robinson available prior to about 1952. so any fight film u see of him is him not even at his best. he turned pro in 1940 and had cleaned out the entire welterweight division by 1942 and was 40-0. he couldn't get a shot cuz he refused to deal with Frankie Carbo who was a mobster that controlled alot of boxing at the time. he didn't even get his first shot at the welterweight title till 1946. that much is well documented.
