dubstep has become such an overarching term now like calling something "rock" doesn't help that much. There seems to be two "main" kinds where it splits into. You have mainstream bro-step with some artists blending between DNB (Reso) and then a lot of other artists doing their own thing (Hud Mo, Rustie, Lorn...Plenty and Plenty more).

@emolover4eternity He definitely has his own style, but this track in particular is especially glitch hop, sometimes called crunkstep, if you want to break it down to specific genres. But those tags typically don't last more than a year or so, honestly.
