Note PETA doesn't fund anything like this, and never will. They are the worst scam organization which is a bane for anybody that actually does care about animals.

HSUS also does nothing, and have no relationship with your local Humane Society. the Humane Society of the United States runs no shelters.

@warriorsrock123 I'm absolutely certain about PETA. PETA is even worse than HSUS. They are both cynical evil organizations taking advantage of people who want to do some good.

What I've learned if you want to make any sort of positive difference, you absolutely have to be involved.

Rescue groups are filled with evil people too. A lot of rescues are nothing more than dog brokers.

@warriorsrock123 I have done dog rescue for the last decade.

The last dog I had was kicked so hard in the face at one point, that his jaw had been broken and healed improperly. He bit me when I was combing him out, and punctured my skin in two places, and I ended up with pasteurella which gave me septic arthritis in my left wrist. After he bit me, he panicked and defecated thinking I was going to beat him.

I got that dog sane again, over a course of a year.
