I spent a lot of hours in one of these and a lot more inside and underneath, too. The cost was just a bit over $100,000 with a 14ft mowing deck, snowblower with truck loading attachment, small pick up sweeper, snow plow and sander attachment. It also had provisions for a three point hitch on the back (and a PTO) to run aggie attachments...The down side? Sooooooo many freakin' moving parts, pumps, switches, relays and hydraulic hoses that all seemed to develop problems after a year or so.

LOL, yeah tough machine but some people have a hard time keeping them on the wheels. The new generation of these are all CAN controlled, tier 3 boosted 4.5L with 4 friggin computers on it. New ones are holding up if theyre washed and greased, same as old ones I guess

MT is municipal tractor if my memory is right. Tough machine, very well built. We used to be a dealer for them - it's a shame they where so exspensive that nobody could afford to them. We sold a good handfull, but I only ever worked on one that a guy drove off a retaining wall while plowing the snow on the sidewalk up the hill from it....mostly comspetic damage.....

Trackless tractors are really nice. The city of Frankenmuth, Michigan owns one. I've also checked out the German made version, the Holder. There's a video if me driving one, check it out! It's the new C474 model, very nice. My only complaint is it was getting warm in the Cab and I couldn't find the A/C button!

I love Trackless MT's. The old ones have 76HP and the newer ones have 115HP ish. 4-cylinder cummins turbo diesel, 2 speed hydrostatic transmission. Top speed of 30MPH. Hydraulic articulating steering. Though they are pretty problematic, they are still fun as hell to drive.
